Neelu maa and Anurag's relationship

Anurag used to share almost every thing with his mother as a kid, even when he was leaving he was worried about her crying and had told her not to cry saying he will do whatever shehkar wants him to and she should come and meet him in America.

Even though he still seem to respect and love her there is a visible coldness in his attitude towards Neelu maa as well.

I so badly want to know why? I can understand Anurag shut himself to all emotions after being punished for no fault of his own but being a mother did she never try to change it? Did she ever go and visit him in America or not? Did she never try and console him? Talk to him? Make him feel loved and cared for that he became so cold?

I really want to know why their relationship today is the way it is but I am not sure if the CVs plan to show it or not.

I mean even when he returned and they had their first meeting and Shehkar spoke about his attitude all she said was 'aik maa ye kabhi nahi maan sakti key uska beta badal gata hey magar iss waqt ye manney key siwa merey paas aur koi chara nahi" Is that all she can do as a mom? He seems to have changed and you let him be like that never trying to talk to him about his pain?

I so wish they concentrate more on their relationship as mother and son and through that we get to learn why Anurag is the way he is today ... I mean so far everything we have learned about why he is the way he is through our own theories and readings into the events that took place or a few of Anurag's dialogues, more than that nothing much.

They should show Neelu as a strong woman. Till now her char is very weak. Her son has changed and she easily accepted it. She doesn't have a desire to ask why he has changed? Only praying to kali ma will not work.

And my question is not why she did not stand up for anurag infront of Shehkar, my question is everything said and done why is she least bothered about the change in Anurag, being a mother would you not be cocerned? Its' not about her going and fighting with shehkar for Anurag but its about being a mother to him, talking to him just being there for him, consoling him, getting to know him better, to help him come out of the state he is in. Agreed she can't stand up against Shehkar but she can atleast be a mother to him

Arey vandy kia baat kar rahi hey 😆 in the very first time she met him post leap she herself said "a mother can never believe that her son has changed but looking at him i have no option but to accept that he has changed" and you are saying she has not seen it? 😕

Nice topic Naadia and this is what was paining me too.Why anurag is cold shouldering his mom.He does love and respect her as mother and shares things with her but when these two are together there is thin film of coldness from anurag's side.
As you said its quite possible that neelu ma promised him to visit America but she never met.He must be having high hopes and expectation with Neelu Ma that she will rescue him and bring him back after making shekhar agree but nothing like this happened .So slowly he started isolating himself and shelled his feelings not only against shekhar, ananya but also neelu maa. He is still fond of neelu maa and shares but not like friend .
Neelu is basically a loving woman who loves all her kids equally but she is too humble and she is not able to go against shekhar and thats her weakness.She is too submissive.Even she is not able to encounter her own children's rudeness and just cry out.
Anurag understands her , respect her and never goes against her still he doesnot have that kind of relationship where he can share each and everything.Nupur's case is proof that he did not shared this with his own mom.
anurag craved for mother's love but he did not got that somehow.His expectations drained slowly hence he became cold towards Neelu maa too.

@soapy.. U shldn't even be asking this.. Its but obvious that inspite of her wanting to she wld have never got a chance to visit him at all.. bcos of Shekhar.. He tried calling and talking of wanting to return but to vain and shekhar must have refused her.. and obviously she does not have say here..( I mean what can one give a peace of mind to her son over the phone).... If That was the case remember Laboni telling Her being a mother u cant even stop ur son and her reply was have i ever gone against my will of Hubby.... she may have been worried but helpless...& That binds to him going in the shell ....so he has become cold to all knowing that ever anything does happen he has no one to lean on to..i can expect that from him.. he is not cold towards her but just does not expect too much... from her either.. & remember he only met his mother with that smile and hug..

See in a way you supported the point i was trying to make in the post ... that Neelu has not been there for Onu ... reasons may be whatever but the fact remains she was not and she still is not ... even now she is not trying to break that shell of his and just sitting back and expecting he will make everything alright ... my question and purpose of this thread was ... where is Neelu the mom? And that question still remains 😆

And i know Onu still loves her and respects her and even cares for her ... but where is her motherhood is the basic question here my lord 😆 Being a mom you can't just say oh i have no choice but to accept he has changed and walk away can you?
