Sweet shop inaugaration news at first page

I was surprised to see that the news of inaugaration of a sweet shop was published at the front page of a newspaper. Is there less news in this world that such news are coming in the front page. I never saw such news ever come to a front page of a newspaper even if the newspaper is very popular.

Money can buy anything ... you pay a paper and they will publish anything ... this is called publicity ... its not hard news but publicity and people reading the news too know its being done for publicity ... i mean i have seen papers that have one lead stor on main page and rest of it is one big ad ... looks odd i know but its possible 😆

But I never saw such things in our newspaper - may be it telegraph, statesman and our bengali anandabazar. The advertisemet come but not as a headline. They come at advertisement place which is at the bottom place of the paper.

LOL, I had the same thing in mind too! 🤣 I am sure, the shop wasn't this famous that the news of it's reopening was on the front page of a leading newsletter. 😆 Besides, if ever it was so famous . . Vimal would have been a real rich man. Ha!!

I know what you are saying, its very rare and costs a lot so thats why people prefer giving ads instead

And also for Anurag the shop means a lot, it may or may not be famous otherwise but since the shop means a lot to him and he had tit for tat from his father, he made him publish the news 😆 Anyother paper may not have done it but Shehkar had to

Well..even i thought of the same thing before...but after watching the episode clearly..I came to know it was AN ARTICLE and not AN AD..They ahd written Shekhar Ganguly innaugurating the shop..So that cant be an AD...Thats for sure an ARTICLE...But anyways I was confused seeing Tani's photo in the newspaper😕I mean in the paper they had written Shekhar innaugurating Ananda Mishti Shop or something....then how come tani's pic is there in the newspaper😕😕Anyways..I thought the whole ad inj the paper was kinda stupi and odd...Anyways..Kekta Mai kuch bhi kar sakti hai..😆😆Agar unki bas chale toh she will promote Tani's shop in every page of the newspaper😆So never mind😉

One way if you think this is Shekhars publication and he is inaugauratin the shop so his news will be on 1st page

I have had newspapers where the whole page 1 is an ad projected as a story and the first time it happened I didn't even realise immediately....and this is no less a paper than TOI! So Money does make the world go around😆 and shekhar ganguly does own the newspaper so he can print it if he wants to and Onu has twisted his arm to make him do it. a regualr paper as regular news wouldn't but if u pay for it even TOI will!
