in indian culture we dnt address our neighbourhood woman by theri names. and we dnt put thier names before saying maa.

in bengal the woman who r older than our mom r addresed by jethima ( means bari ma) n who r younger than our mom r adrresed by kamima( means chachi).

we dnt adreses our mom in law by their names.how ridiculous is that ekta.

its not minu ma first of all...its neelu maa 😊 ..tanni adresses as maa coz she is like her 2nd mom 😊 ..y do u have a prob with that 🤢 ...her wish na 🤢

i agree wid niki.... theres no problem....in tht....even i address my all mausi & chahi's, uncles & aunties by there name...as (alka mausi, poonam chachi... etc....) there no problem in tht.....

my friend you need to calm down kyunki pura ka pura bengali culture toh apna nahi sakte. Thodi si toh uniqueness lani toh padegi na?? I mean how the non-bengali viewers suppose to comprehend? They do use bengali words many times like in Sept. 1 episode Shekhar says something in bengali and repeats it in hindi i mean isn't tht enough?? Ekta is giving the bengali culture enough credit. My POV.

um have you been watching the show from the beginning??

both Anurag and Tani call each others mom's MA ....they only use their names when they specify which mom....and they always use it with respect....that's all that matters....and I dont know what/where you are lviing in...nowadays EVERYONE calls their parents mom and dad....no one calls them ma or baba....atleast in the show they're bringing some respect to parenthood

another topic bout it!!!!..lol..anyways i dont see wats wrong in this..theyr still adding maa...nd its no big deal..theyr still callin their mom wid respect.. a lot of people do that...i have two Bua(aunts)...nd i say their name before nd then add bua..thats no big deal..as long as ur showing respect its doesnt matter if u call ur elders by name..espcially if its ur mom/aunt/dad...but its dif for granparents....i find nothing wrong in the way they call their 2nd mom..be it neelu maa or laboni maa
