Written and Video Update- September 1st
Hey people! Hope you are all doing well. Gosh, can't believe it's already September!! How quick does time pass? Anyway, let's see what happened in today's episode. I've been drooling and going crazy watching the episodes of the past week again and again, so hopefully we get some more of it today. And sorry the update is so late, it's Ramadan, so I can only get on the laptop once I have finished all my praying 😳:

The episode begins with the scene from the previous episode, of Anurag talking to his father about printing the article about Bimal's shop. He leaves the table and meets Neelu in the hallway. Neelu tells Anurag that Shekhar started 'Ganguly Publications' seventeen years back, and exactly two years after that he started his first newspaper. She tells him that since that time, hundreds and thousands of editions of the newspaper have come and gone, but she never read the newspaper. Neelu says that tomorrow, for the first time, she will read the newspaper. Anurag gives a small smile and a nod, and walks away (And what was the point of that whole scene? 😕🤣 Would someone care to explain? 😆). The scene switches to Taani pouring tea in cups, and Molly asking her what she is planning to do next. Taani says she does not know, as her brain has completely stopped working. She tells Molly that Taposh got very angry seeing Anurag yesterday, so when he discovers that Anurag bought Bimal's shop, she doesn't know what Taposh will do. Taani says that Anurag has stayed back for her, is helping her with the inauguration. Molly tells her to just tell Taposh before the inauguration takes place. Taani tells her that she does not have the guts to, and that already her brother does not like Anurag, so when he finds out the truth God knows what he will do. Molly asks Taani whether she will go against her brother then, but Taani replies that she can never go against her brother.
Molly then asks Taani whether that means she will go against Anurag, and Taani replies that she will have to stop talking to Anurag, as there is no other way. Molly asks her if she can really live without talking to Anurag, but Taani tells her that she knows it would be difficult, but there is no other way. She says Anurag is doing a lot for her, and she cannot tolerate his humiliation. Molly tells Taani that she will help her in this matter by telling Taposh whenever Taani goes to talk to Anurag or goes to his house. Taani teases her by saying that Molly is unable to speak when Taposh is around, so how will she be able to complain about Taani. Molly looks down embarrassed and then says that from this moment forward, Taani will not talk to Anurag. Taani consents and says she won't talk to him. Molly suddenly looks behind and says that Anurag has come. Taani doesn't look back and tells Molly that it is not the time to be joking. Molly repeats that Anurag has come, and Taani turns her head to look behind, shocked to see Anurag walking into the house 😆. Molly tells Taani that she is leaving and both of them can speak. Taani tells her to stay behind and loudly reiterates that she cannot speak to Anurag. Anurag looks down with a little smile on his face (*sigh* Killing smiles ☺️). Molly teases Taani, telling her in a low voice not to talk to Anurag, and then leaves, saying that she has to go to college. Molly and Anurag say bye to each other as she leaves.
Anurag looks at Taani, not saying a word. Taani speaks and tells him that she is very serious. She says after today she cannot speak to him, because her brother does not like it when they meet, and she cannot disobey him. Anurag walks up to her and asks where her purse is. Taani gets confused and repeats the word 'purse'. She turns to look at her purse and tells him that it is lying there. He walks over to the purse whilst Taani repeats that Taposh does not like them meeting, and she will not go against her brother. Anurag gets hold of the purse and then asks Taani where her mobile is. Taani again gets confused and repeats the word 'mobile'. She says she does not know, and that it must be around here somewhere. She asks whether he understands what she is saying. Anurag steps closer to her until he is just inches away (😲 OMG, so close ☺️ *fans herself* ☺️), and looks down at her. Taani stops talking, just looking into his eyes. His hand brushes past her waist to get to the mobile phone which is on the table behind her. He looks at the mobile phone and tells her he is taking the phone so that she is able to talk to her brother in case he calls. Taani looks down (Probably disappointed, like any girl would be! 😆). She says that she knows they are old friends, and very good friends, but their friendship is creating a lot of problems in her house. Anurag interrupts her, asking which sandals she is going to wear with her dress.
Taani gets annoyed and says she is saying one thing but he is saying another. Anurag looks to a pair of sandals across the room and tells her to wear these sandals. Anurag tells her that he is taking her somewhere with him, and asks whether she will come with him. Taani tells him that he knows very well that she would like to come, and is about to say no to him, but Anurag thanks her, saying that he will see her soon. Taani's mouth falls open and she tries to explain to him, but he leaves without listening. She quickly puts out the sandals and follows him out of the house. Anurag, holding Taani's purse, gets inside his car. Taani follows him to the car, telling him to listen to her, and again telling him, from the outside of the car, that her brother has strictly forbidden her from talking to Anurag, thus she cannot come with him. Anurag opens the door of the car for her, and she absentmindedly sits inside the car, still asking him whether he understands what she is saying. (I love how he isn't listening to a word she's saying, and how he just won't take no for an answer 😆) Anurag puts on his seatbelt and orders her to do the same. Taani pouts and puts on her seatbelt, grumbling that Taposh would not like this at all. Anurag tells her to not speak to him then, that he did not even tell her to speak to him, and that she can speak to herself and he can speak to himself. Taani tries to speak but Anurag gives her a meaningful look. Taani tells him that she has not yet bought Bimal's shop from him, and Anurag tells her to pay him now then, telling her to take out the money.
Taani grabs her purse and takes out a cheque and hands it to Anurag. Anurag congratulates her, telling her that from today her shop is hers- 'aaj se aapki dukhan aapki hui' 😆. He asks whether they can go now. Taani asks where they are going, Anurag says she asks a lot of questions. He starts the car, and Taani tells him to answer her (She calls him motu, so sweet! 😳) The car drives off. Scene switches to Anurag and Taani walking in the hallway of their school. Taani asks Anurag why he did not tell her that he was bringing her to their school. Anurag replies that if he had told her before, the intensity of her happiness would have lessened. He asks how she liked his surprise, and she smiles, saying she found it very nice. She tells him that she really missed this place in the last eight years. Anurag lightly touches the bricks on the wall and says that he also missed it. They walk across the hallways of the school, looking into the classrooms and remembering their childhood days there (Hum Hain Is Pal Yahan plays in the background 😡. Not a very wise decision on the part of the Balaji team I must say 😒. Prem and Heer gave a new meaning to that song and made it more beautiful than the song in the film. And the song did not even suit the situation 😕. I mean, of all the songs they could have used, why this one? 😕 Wrong choices, I just hope it doesn't have bad repercussions 🤔). Anurag walks up to Taani and tells her to wait for him, as he will be back in a minute. He goes off somewhere.
Two kids having a conversation about the Ram Leela that they have to rehearse for walk past Taani, and she smiles, remembering the Ram Leela that she and Anurag took part in. The scene switches to the principle, Molly's mother, talking to an assistant of the school. Anurag walks towards her and introduces himself as an ex-student of the school. He tells her he is also a friend of her daughter, Molly. He puffs up his cheeks, indicating that he was fat as a child (Haha, Harshad looks so adorable making that face! 😍😆) The principle recognises him as Anurag and he smiles. The principle is surprised and tells him that she cannot believe how much he has changed (Neither can we 😆😆😆). Anurag replies that he is hearing that a lot nowadays. He takes out a cheque from his jacket and hands it to the principle, telling her that it is for the school. He tells her that whatever he is today is because of this school, and the principle replies that they are all very proud of him. She says there are very few kids who, even after gaining success, do not forget their school. She asks in whose name he wants to donate the money, his or his company. Taani comes and watches from afar. Anurag tells the principle that he has grown up in the school, it is the place where he made his friends, his memories and childhood is attatched to it. He says he wants to give these memories a name and honour them, and says he is giving this cheque in the name of Bimlendu Banerjee (Awww'' 😳).
Taani is surprised and touched at this gesture of his. Anurag says he wants the school to open a whole wing in his name, where kids can remember him and his famous mithai/sweets. He turns to the side and sees Taani, and Taani smiles. Anurag is about to introduce her to the principle but the principle tells him that she has met her before. Taani comes to stand beside Anurag. The principle tells Anurag that she will talk to the school's management and try her best to fulfil this wish of his. Taani gazes at Anurag and thinks that everyone had forgotten about her father's shop long ago, but he remembered it and today gave her father's dream a life. The scene changes to Robindo sitting on top of a car with some other guys. He tells the guys that he is very bored and that nothing exciting is happening tonight. One of the guys agrees and says their parents have created so much money and reputation, but one should so something exciting in life. A girl nervously walks past the car and the boys turn and stare at her as she walks past (Sleazes, I swear! 🤢 Every single head turned! 😡🤢). One of the guys speaks up and says that this girl may motivate them to make something happen tonight (🤢 Eeeewww, what the heck is that supposed to mean?! 🤢). Robindo shakes his head and tells them that she is not his type. His friend says if Robindo is not interested, he will give it a try himself. Robindo replies saying that the actual challenge is not just to get the girl but to roam around college with her, and with her wearing a miniskirt.
One of the guys says that is impossible, saying that the girl looks like a sisterly type. The guy who said he will give a try, says he will make the impossible possible, telling them to wait and watch. He goes off towards the girl and the other guys follow behind. Robindo stays sitting on the bonnet of the car. Molly happens to be walking past and is surprised to see Robindo's behaviour. She tells herself that she will have to talk to Taani about him and then leaves. A girl comes running up to Robindo, telling him that she needs to talk to him about something serious. Robindo and the girl leave together. Scene switches to Anurag and Taani in the car arriving back home. Taani gets out of the car and is surprised and happy to see all her friends, Molly, Subodh, AM, PM working together to get the shop in order. Taani asks AM and PM what they are doing here, and they all shout SURPRISE. Taani gets confused and then asks Molly what is going on. Anurag leans on the car behind her, staring at her with a little smile on his face. Molly indicates to Taani to look behind her. Taani smiles shyly but does not look behind. Subodh clicks his fingers in front of AM and PM's faces, telling them to get back to work (Instead of ogling 😆😆😆). Taani turns around and asks Anurag what all this is. He replies with the simple word 'help'- 'madad'. (I swear, the way he looks at Taani, I would faint if someone looked at me that way ☺️) He says all their friends are getting together to help her with her shop, as tomorrow is the inauguration.
Taani is shocked and asks him how everything will get done so quickly. Anurag tells her that he does not have much time, and that before he goes back, he wants to get her shop open and running. He tells her to be ready and then says bye, getting in his car and leaving. Taani smiles as he leaves (You should be sad, not smiling; he just said he's leaving soon!! 😭😆) Taani walks into the shop and is hugged by PM. Taani thanks them for helping her with the shop, but PM tells her there is no thank you in friendship, and that there is still a lot of work to be done. Taani hugs Molly, and then thanks Subodh. Subodh tells her to forget that and asks her why she has not been coming to the clinic. Taani tells him that Anurag has come, which is why she was unable to come. Subodh looks upset and disappointed She tells him that she knows she should have informed him, but it completely slipped her mind. Subodh forces a smile. She talks about how Anurag is doing so much for her, helping her set up the shop, and staying back just for her, so it is her duty to spend a bit of time with him. As Taani keeps talking, Subodh looks at her sadly, secretly wiping a tear. ( Aaaah, I kind of expected this to happen. Very predictable track, Subodh loving Taani'I just hope they don't turn him evil 🤔). Anurag is shown from his balcony watching everyone working to get the shop ready for the inauguration.
Robindo and the girl, Farzana (I think that it is the same girl, looks like her 😆), are sitting in the bar, and Farzana tells him that her dad is getting her married elsewhere. Robindo asks what she is saying, and then congratulates her, telling her that it is very good news, and asking who the lucky guy is. The girl is surprised and asks why he is happy hearing the news of her marriage. Robindo replies that it is good news, but the girl tells him that she loves him, that they both love each other and that their relationship has gone so far that returning back is impossible. Robindo interrupts and asks how he can marry (He calls her Farah again, haha 😆), as he is still twenty years old, and even his big brother is still single too (Ummm, actually no, he is a married man, thank you! 😆). Farzana tells him that she does not know anything, that he had promised her and told her that he loved her. Robindo takes her hand and says he does love her, but starts giving examples of how he loves his shirt, his jeans, the dog he owns, but he cannot marry all the things that he loves. Farzana looks heartbroken, tears appear in her eyes. Robindo tells her that as far as his commitment goes, he will love her forever, even after her marriage, and leans towards her. She pushes him away, saying that people were right about him, that he is a rich man's spoilt child that only knows how to use girls and then throw them away. She tells him that one day he will be in her place, a girl will deceive him and that day he will realise her pain (Indicating to the whole Molly-Taposh-Robindo triangle? 😛).
Robindo rolls his eyes and grabs his drink, telling her to chill. Farzana walks away and Robindo mutters the word 'crazy'. He turns and spots another girl, going to her with a huge grin on his face (OMG, not an atom's amount of shame! 🤢 I can't stand guys like these! 😡) It is the morning and Ritesh walks into Kuhu's bedroom. She is still asleep and he calls her name, asking why she has not waken up yet, as she has school to go to. Kuhu says she does not want to go to school, and Ritesh asks why. She replies that she has a stomach ache, and Ritesh asks where it is paining. He begins tickling her in the stomach and Kuhu begins giggling. Ritesh cuddles her, saying that she was lying and has gone up to her dad (Tell me about it 😆. Usually I would have found that scene cute, but he totally showed his true colours with that line at the end! 🤢). Ananya rushes into the room and hands Ritesh a newspaper, telling him to look at it and saying she had said before not to let Taani enter their house, but no one listens to her. Ritesh is shocked to see the front page showing Taani's picture, and details of the shop's inauguration. After the break, Laboni is shown reading the same newspaper. She is shocked and tells her brother that it cannot be true. Her brother says the news is printed in the papers, thus they cannot avoid this truth. Laboni says she cannot have her shop inaugurated by Shekhar's hands. She shouts that she will have to go there, and will leave straight away, telling him to get her ticket sorted.
In Kolkata, Taposh also reads the newspaper and is stunned. He shouts Taani's name and then walks into the kitchen where Taani is cooking. He throws the newspaper on the counter and asks what is all this, telling her to explain the meaning of it. Taani reads the newspaper and is surprised herself at the headline saying that Shekhar will inaugurate the shop. Taposh asks Taani why she is quiet and demands an answer from her. He shouts that he had forbidden her to meet Anurag, yet she still did so. Taani tells him that Anurag is only helping them, but Taposh says they do not need this kind of help. He says today what Anurag calls help, Anurag will call a favour in the future. Taposh says in public they will throw this favour in their face. Taani cries. Taposh tells her that they have now got another reason to insult them, saying what he was afraid of is happening. He says the people who had humiliated their parents are today inaugurating their shop. He says things have gone too far and he would have to tell Laboni now, as whatever is to be done will be done by her. Taani begs him not to, but he leaves. Laboni gets he call from Taposh, and he tells her to come there as soon as possible. Laboni asks if everything is alright, but Taposh replies nothing is alright, as Shekhar is inaugurating their shop. Laboni tells him that she read it in the newspaper, and that she told her brother to get her ticket ready, so is coming there.
Taposh tells her that he will come to collect her from the station and then Laboni hangs up the phone. Taani cries in the background. Taposh mutters that Anurag did not do the right thing, asking what Anurag wants to assert by doing a favour on them- possibly that they cannot stand on their own feet without his help. He says he will not let that happen, and leaves in anger. Taani cries, thinking that their mother is coming now, so she doesn't know what will happen now. Episode ends on her distressed face.
RATING- 8/10
All in all, it was a good episode 😃. The Anurag and Taani scenes were nice, I loved how Anurag did not take no for an answer at the start of the episode 😆, and does not care what the world thinks or wants 😳. For him his friendship is above everything and is so unbreakable that even Taani cannot stop him from being with her 😳. That little scene where he gets so close to her in order to get her mobile had me blushing like mad ☺️. What I didn't like in the episode was how they used Hum Hain Is Pal Yahan in the background 😡. That was Premeer's song, and it was a big drawback to the episode hearing it, when we all have so many beautiful memories of Prem and Heer and that song 😍. Anurag and Taani's jodi should be unique, there are a million songs they could pick one out of, this was a poor decision by the creatives, or whoever deals with all that background music stuff 🤔. So I cut one point for that, and I cut one point for the meaningless scene between Ritesh and Ananya 🤢. That whole Subodh thing had me feeling sorry for him and annoyed at him at the same time 😆. Can I just say, I hate Robindo's character. Men who treat women like that are just disgusting! 🤢 Anyways, overall, it was a lovely episode, great to see the friends sticking together and helping Taani to fulfil her dream 😳- Anurag is just, what can I say *sigh* 😍 The way he blew up his cheeks when introducing himself to the principle was just sooo cute 😳😆, and the way he looks at Taani has me melting ☺️! I also love how Taani can still call him motu so freely. 😆 Hope you guys felt the same way as I did 😛
