she was so good in miley jab hum tum n this is her second show n she got a lead role..im pretty sure you need to be a good actor to get that...just give her a chance...it takes time to get into a character..

Noo, not another topic regarding her acting. Leave her alone. she's doing a pretty good job. some of you are just not giving her a chance. give her sometime! Im sure harshad wasnt perfect wen he started kdmhmd, but then his acting improved and now people love him. try being in her place and see hw u feel.
i think she's ok and she will improve soon.

all i can say is just give her a chance. trust me, she's guna improve. if u dont really like her, then dont watch her show, Simples 😊

from the day this TL forum was opened i'm reading all the comments silently. i didn't participate in the discussion for some reasons.

AK is acting but her facial features makes difficult for her. Eye expressions are very important for an actor. AK has a slight squint in her eyes which fails to express her original reaction.

Her front two teeth are little bigger. so whenever she opens her mouth it shows out first that gives little older look to her character. for a lead actress there are some features that should match with the character.

Her defects are very clear because she is with wonderful actors around. Camera does some magic to boost her look even then an intensive watcher can identify the difference between her original expression and the trick of the camera.

now Tanni is just 18. for that age AK looks older. because of that teeth. In reality people will have that too but when it comes for show its different. why only certain peole get lead role and others get side character. because they has good physical features and good in acting.

i'm not criticising AK. just telling the fact. i don't have hatness towards AK.

I'm also a HC fan. When his facial expression or acting fails then i'll openly comment. truth has to be accepted by everyone. we cannot shout aloud to hide the truth. then we'll be the loosers.

newt2007, Taani's current age is 23 and not 18, so the question of her looking older does not arise ... and i agree if people who watch the show criticize someone for acting there is no harm in it as it will only help them improve ... but if people who don't watch it or never wanted to accept Harshad with anyone else come here just to criticize the lead actors or the story or other things about the show then i am sorry but we all can figure out why they do it, specially when all of them wanted someone in particular to play Taani. No offense but as you said truth should not be ignored.

And yea Anupriya may not be the prettiest girl out there but i feel that kinda gives it a realistic touch, Anurag and Taani's love story is not about love at first sight where you need a perfect looking girl, who just blows your mind away in an instant. This story is about the pure bond they shared as kids that has made them hold the other above anything else. Looking at her i can see the character Taani in her and that is all that matters. Chemistry more than looks or anything is created by the story and bonding of characters, if you can relate to characters along with their story chemistry comes automatically.

Anurag looks younger than Tanni. i think you got my point.

matching to character is main. for example Anurag came to return the papers to Tanni. Tanni ran into the room to control herself. do you thought any expression in that. nothing she just breathed heavily which is clearly looked like acting. no reality there. that is not because that she doens't know acting. this is her second show so surely she must have learnt something. but the features failed to support her acting.

only people who are appreciating her is in this forum now. so everyone will surely praise her acting. Others are send out because they are stamped as AK haters.

From the day one i didn't participate in these discussion because of that only. I seached for the integrity in this forum. i'm not a fan of any particular actor/actress. but no one is allowed to express their point of view openly in this forum.

I agree that few people are not ready to accept HC with AK. that doesn't meant all the others who are criticising are also hating AK with HC.

Instead of blindly throwing stones on the people who are criticising the character please read what they are trying to tell.
