you make a valid point🙂 there are many singers in Pakistan that do not get the opportunity to live the dream of becoming a playback singer, since there is no scope thereOuch but they are given the chance to do so in India, and I'm sure many of them really appreciate it. I've heard a lot of Rahat interviews and he's often spoken about the love and appreciation he gets there.
Hats off to India for giving these opportunities👏🏻

I see the hatred have been probably mixed mothers milk in India.
More then 60% of the songs Indians have been listening to and think of them as their own have been copied from Pakistani Pop, Ghazals, Old songs and even low budget Pakistani movies. So many songs the phata hua voice of Jagjit has sung have been from pakistani ghazal sings has well...and yet they have the cheapness to say that pakistani artists should be banned - Even C grade actresses from India like Urmila and Neha dhupia are treated with respect...while this is what the racist Indians think about Pakistani artists. Wao, Insecurity and racism at its best from our Indian brothers and sisters.

if we treat the Pakistani Artists the same as they treat us then what is the difference between them and us? We are the society from where Gandhiji came and we should follow his example. I am not saying Pakistan is correct, but really is it such a big deal if our artists go over there? I would take it as a compliment from Pakistan that they are to scared to allow our stars to out shine theirs. Come on sour grapes is not a very nice way to show the world what we are made of.

India should try sycophancy to appease Pakistan. This will also please Muslims in India and promote secularism in the country. Indian politicians have shown great skills in the past in this area and i hope they will continue to strengthen secularism in India by their lip service. Abhijeet should be branded communal and this will automatically marginalize him in secular India.

a singer is a singer. no matter where he/she is from. they are also human beings like us. just because they are pakistani doesn't mean they've got blood of a different colour.

Jigglypuff ji,I didn't understand what you meant by "just because Pakistan doesn't allow Indian singers?"😳Great singers like Sonu Nigam,Alka Yagnik,Udit Narayan and I think Shreya Ghoshal too have actually lent their voices to popular Pakistani serial title songs.Just wanted to clarify that.😃

This is how you respect our legends👏👏👏.When we say something about NFAK or MH we always say ustad or saheb.Well, first of all the new pak singers who are getting fame by singing in indian film ind should learn how to be thankful to the nation and her people for providing them opp.Being greatfull is far, they actually think that they are doing favor to us by singing in India🤢

Why rake up a news item of 2003 now when things have changed for good drastically? After that so many of our singers and performers have had shows in Pakistan (and NOT through the back door either). Think in 2008, we should have an open mind and welcome talent from other countries too, not only Pakistan.
