Why is it every time someone (either a member or a judge on the show) says some criticism comments about a muslim contestant or his/her family, then that person is accused of religious racism? It has nothing to do with religion. If you notice, the same people support other muslim contestants. It is all personal likes and dislikes - based on charisma, voice, appearance, etc.
I never liked Aamir so much, the same way I didnt like a bunch of other contestants including Vaishali and Rohit on Lil champs. Vaishali has a big mouth for her age which bugs me. I liked Anamika but not Smitha, though they are kind of look alikes. I felt sorry for Vasundhara but I didnt feel her voice quality is up to par with Anamika or Rohanpreet or Vibhor. For me, Vaishali, Tanmay and Amir all have the same kind of voice issue - lack of clarity and appears more like shouting than singing. Of course, being kids, they have a charm, but then when it comes to competition, the kiddy charm should not matter but the talent should. The liking is a personal factor for viewers.
I didnt see or hear Sonu saying anything like that. He is one of the best singers who maintains his head stability rather than gloat over the fame. If we say that his religion is attacked by accusing him, people wont agree, right? The same way, please dont just accuse people by saying something they didnt even think. It's easy to twist words, but many people mean literal meanings when they talk - because normal conversation is a process done without much brain thoughts unless it is scripted or rehearsed.

Back to topic Aamir was to be sponsered by some well wisher for his education etc, wonder if the person kept his word.

As per Aamir's interview taken by creative castle he said he is going to states sponsored by the sponser. His brother said something different. Like maybe Aamir is going to States or maybe he will study in India. The lady who took his interview lately tried to contact Aamir for the updates but she could not get hold of him. Funny thing is some promotor giving ads about theSRGMP lil champs show on Sept 12/08 here in Toronto. When I mentioned to the person who interviewed Aamir and who has Punkaji (Zee Marketing Director) contact info and when enquired he (Punkajji) said they have not get the Visa yet for world tour. I do not know what happened about the show. I am too busy b/c of Ramadan and could not follow it up.

Totally agree with Akanna. Professional Indian artists who are of very high calibre are supressed and cannot make professional, critical judgement anymore as they get a thorough backlash from people and get accused of racism etc! That will probably contribute to true talent being lost.
I guess society now has no alternative but to say what is politically right and yet internally hold a different opinion altogether! For those in this category, I'm afraid this may also just turn us into hypocrits without even wanting to become one! This is where society as a whole is losing direction. However, on a positive note - we all get on in the end despite all these feelings..... Ahhhhhhh

I agree. The incident regarding Abhijeet is a good example for it. Unfortunately public in general never thinks but just jumps into conclusion and reacts violently before thinking for a minute. And all "no" real issues are made to appear as MEGA issues by this kind of reaction.
