If only Kunj had a heart,it would have been broken into a million pieces by now
There sat Alisha in the canteen with her new boyfriend and Kunj's ex best friend Vishal,happily sipping on the latte Vishal had got for her
Alisha was happy,not even once did it look like she had lost her love' 2 years back.How happily she held Vishal's hand and kept whispering things to him,giggling every now and then
Sure Kunj was gone only to never come back again and Alisha had every right to move on but didn't she move on too fast? Was their love so weak that instead of mourning Alisha decided to move on and that too with his best friend? There were thousands of such questions roaming around in Kunj's mind that only triggered his anger more
Twinkle,who stood right next to him could see how Kunj's facial color changed from pale to red.She couldn't see him like that,she knew how much of a playboy Kunj had been but he actually loved Alisha and that was always visible in his eyes
Before Twinkle to place her hand on Kunj's shoulder to comfort him,Kunj walked towards Alisha and Vishal's table
Standing in front of them,Kunj stared at them,his eyes blood shot
Not being able to control himself anymore,Kunj launched himself forward and threw a punch at Vishal
Vishal laughed as Alisha whispered something into his ears,not before biting his earlobe and then moving away
Twinkle still standing at the entrance of the cafeteria saw how Kunj's hand passed through Vishal's face without touching him at all
Seeing the PDA happen in front of him,Kunj tried to punch Vishal again only to fail once again
In a fit of rage,Kunj kept throwing punches at Vishal which missed him again and again,Kunj's desperate cries growing louder
Kunj wanted to hit Vishal,he wanted him to bare the pain
He kept hitting Vishal while continuous crying like a baby,his loud cries unheard by everyone
Tears formed in Twinkle's eyes seeing Kunj in that state
He looked like a 5 year old crying who was throwing punches at their parents for taking away his favorite toy
After several attempts,Kunj finally stopped and fell to the ground
Through his tearful eyes he saw Vishal kissing Alisha's cheek while she blushed,the same blush she used to have on when Kunj was with her
Vishal had replaced Kunj.
Kunj got up and ran outside.Throwing a hard glance towards the love birds,Twinkle ran outside to find Kunj

Coming outside,Twinkle looked around everywhere but she couldn't find him
Babaji,I just hope he is fine,thought Twinkle
Confirming that he was nowhere in the college,Twinkle started walking outside
She didn't care if her lectures weren't getting missed,right now the most important thing in the world for her was to find Kunj and make sure that he was alright
After walking for about 2 kms,Twinkle found Kunj sitting on the swing of a garden,his face covered with his palms
Not wanting him to disturb him,Twinkle silently went and took the swing next to his
"Are you okay?", Whispered Twinkle as Kunj removed his hands off his face
"I don't deserve love",whispered Kunj back
"Please don't say that,of course you deserve love"
"All my life,I loved Alisha and I was under the impression that she loved me too.I lived a life that was nothing but just a filthy lie.You know it's all my karma,god knows how many girls's feelings have I played with before meeting Alisha,it's all coming back to me"
"No,that's not true.Just because a wh**e never loved you that doesn't mean that you don't deserve love,ofcourse you do.It's her loss if she didn't understand your love,trust me it's her loss.Look I know you didn't get a chance to be with someone who truly loved you but I'm sure you will find someone in the next life.Someone who understands you and loves you just as much you"
"Do you think so?",asked Kunj with hopeful eyes
"I know so",smiled Twinkle as she placed her hand on top of Kunj's
Kunj looked down to where their hands met. Suddenly Feeling conscious, Twinkle was about to remove her hand from his when Kunj stopped her
"Let your hand be here,I like it this way"
Twinkle smiled as she nodded
Kunj took Twinkle's hand and entwined his fingers with hers, letting their hands fall on his thigh
They both remained silent.
The chirping of the birds,the peaceful atmosphere and each other's presence gave them this weird yet comforting warmth
"You know this is my favorite park",said Kunj breaking the silence
"Oh is it?"
"Yeah,whenever I felt low or I had a fight with my family or Alisha,I would run and come here.Coming here would automatically cheer my mood up and instantly make me feel better"
Twinkle smiled as she kept looking at Kunj as he described further what he loved about the park.She looked down to their entwined hands and blushed.
"I really need to find my murderer Twinkle",said Kunj taking Twinkle by surprise
Just a few seconds ago Kunj was happily talking about his love for the park and now suddenly he was serious again
"Don't worry Kunj,we'll find your murderer soon,he will have to pay for his wrong deeds"
"Thank you so much Twinkle,you have no idea how much this means to me.I really don't know what would have I done if you weren't there with me"
"Hey,no matter what happens,I'm always going to be there for you"
"And I'm always going to be there for you"
Kunj and Twinkle looked into each other's eyes.Time had seemed to stand still.
He looked down at her lips before looking back into her eyes again
Slowly Kunj leaned in,placing his hands on the sides of her face
Twinkle closed her eyes as felt Kunj's face near her
Kunj kept going closer to her as Twinkle took a deep breath in to stop the giddiness happening in her stomach
Finally,he placed his lips on hers,covering the painful distance between them.
