Chapter 5

After Mr.Bruno's tragic death,Twinkle had instantly called Kunj and had asked him to meet her at the garden the next morning.

Even after a lot of convincing done by Chinki,Natasha and Aarav to not meet him,Twinkle was determined to meet him and end everything all at once.

Though she was supposed to meet him at 8,she purposely got up at around 6 to memorize and script the lines she was going to say to him.

After continuous attempts of by hearting the lines,Twinkle decided to voice out whatever came to her mind at that moment.

And at around 7:45,she left for "her destination"

Cursing her fate about meeting traffic at 8 in the morning,Twinkle rushed towards the garden to find Kunj sitting at the far corner of the garden on a double seat bench.

For the public,he was like any other man but for Twinkle,he was her bad news.

Taking a deep breath,she started walking towards him.

Sensing her presence,Kunj got up and turned around to face Twinkle.

Twinkle was lost in those hazel brown eyes again.No matter how much she tried to hate him or avoid him,she just couldn't help but fall in love with those pretty eyes of his.

For her,she could see her whole universe in his eyes.

Kunj instantly saw the change of emotions on her face.

He knew she loved him but she won't ever accept it.

Not wanting to drag the deafening silence period,Twinkle started

Twinkle - "Kunj"

"I'm sorry",whispered Kunj

Twinkle was shocked.

She thought it would be very difficult to make Kunj realize and apologize for his mistake but here he was standing in front of her,apologizing to her.

Maybe her hours and hours of practicing lines were meant to go down the drain.

Twinkle - "What did you just say?"

Kunj - "I said I'm sorry!"

Twinkle - "Wait what? You are sorry? Why are you sorry?"

Twinkle was too shocked to understand what was going on.

Kunj sighed.This was going to be tiring,he thought.

Settling himself down on the bench,he patted the seat next to him indicating Twinkle to sit beside him.

But the egoistic woman Twinkle was,she chose to sit beside him leaving a little space between them.

Kunj chuckled at her action.

She's still the same,thought he.

Kunj - "I'm really sorry Twinkle.Sorry for hurting you,for irritating you,for making things hard for you and lastly for creating so many problems for you.It was never my intention of hurting you,you know?"

Twinkle couldn't believe her ears.The man who had practically ruined and "almost finished" her life was sitting there telling her about how it wasn't his intention to do so

"Um don't you think you're thinking over dramatically?" Asked Kunj as though reading her mind.

Twinkle - "Who are you? Why are you doing this to me? I mean why me? What have I done to you?"

Kunj - "I know you have a lot of questions in your mind that need to be answered but trust me I'll answer all of them together. Just listen to me once."

Twinkle - "Okay fine,go ahead."

Kunj - "My name is Kunj..."

Twinkle - "Ofcourse I know that,I know your name is Kunj."

Kunj closed his eyes and sighed in frustration.

Kunj - "Will you let me complete?"

Twinkle - "Oops,sorry go on."

Kunj - "My name is Kunj and I'm the son of Manohar and Usha Sarna."

Sensing that Twinkle was going to speak again,

Kunj - "Not a word."

Kunj - "So Hum school aur college mein saath mein the.Jitna hot aur handsome mein abb Hun utna mein bachpan mein nahi tha."

Not hearing Twinkle's reply,Kunj looked up to meet her eyes only to realize she stayed quiet just how she was supposed to.

Kunj - "Hum second standard mein the jab hum pelhi baar mile.Tune ek cute si pink color ki frock Pehni thi aur apne bal ko plaits mein Kiya hua tha."

Twinkle smiled.He still remembered what she wore years back.

As for Kunj,his eyes glittered while talking about the past.

Kunj - "Hum dono ko teacher ne ek saath bithaya tha.Mujhe dekhte hi tune aapna muh mod liya tha.
Dekhte hi dekhte hum dost ban Gaye aur Tu apni saari cheeze share karne lagi thi mere saath.Jab Bhi mein kissi problem mein phasta tha,Tu Mujhe baccha leti thi.
Mere paas zyada dost nahi the except for you and my friend Sunny.Saath mein beith kar khana khana,ek dusre se apni baatein share karna Hume accha lagta tha.
Time bita Gaya aur hum aur close aaye jab entry hui tere best friend Aarav ki.Woh Saala bachpan se hi smart dikhta tha.Aate hi usne tujhe Mujhse cheen liya.
Jo cheeze hum dono karte the Woh tu uske saath karne lagi thi.Mujhe toh Tu bhul hi gayi thi.
Waqt bita Gaya aur hum college mein aagaye.Meine soch liya tha ki mein tujhe college mein bilkul importance nahi dunga lekin phir jab Meine tujhe dusro ki help karte hua dekha,I couldn't help but fall in love with you.Tujhe itna beautiful hona zaroori tha Kya?
Mein tujhe Bohot pyar karne laga tha.Meri zindagi ban gayi thi tu.Mere din ki shuruwat Tere khayalon se hoti thi aur din ka end Bhi.Lekin tune Mujhe kabhi acknowledge hi nahi Kiya.School friend hone ke naathe,kabhi kabhi "Hi" Bol Deti thi Lekin uske aalava aur kuch Bhi nahi.
Jab dekho uss Aarav ke saath hi rehti thi.Tujhe Aarav ke alava koi aur dikhta nahi tha Kya? Mujhe laga ki tum dono ke Bach mein kuch chal raha tha.Mein na humesha aapne aap ko Aarav se kam samjhta tha,Mujhe lagta tha ki mein kabhi uski barabari nahi kar paungi aur Mujhe tumhe bhul jaana chahiye.
Lekin kismat ka khel toh dekh jis din tujhe bhulne ka decision liye,ussi din Meri daadi ko heart attack aaya.Mere liye Meri daadi Meri Sab kuch thi.Woh tere baare mein Bhi jaanti thi,Meine kabhi unse kuch nahi chupaya.
Jab Woh apni aakri saans le rahi thi tab unhone Mujhse ek baat kahi ki duniya kamine logon se bhari hai,agar aap kissi cheez ko chahate ho toh usse hasal karna Sikho.
Bas that thing stuck to me forever. I couldn't bare the pain of losing her aur issi liye unke jaane ke baad,I was diagnosed with clinical depression.
Doctors suggested that I should not stay here anymore since all the memories spent with my grandmother would always haunt me and wouldn't ever let me move on.
Thats when dad decided to take me to London as he had his business there too.
Lekin Meine aapne aap se promise Kiya tha ki mein India wapas zaroor aaunga,tumhe aapna banane ke liye.
Yahan wapas aane ke bad meine apne friend Yuvi se Kehke tumhari saari details nikalwayi aur uss din bar Mai Bhi mein isiliye aaya tha kyunki Mujhe pata tha ki Tu wahan hogi.I love you a lot Twinkle."

After his confession,Kunj fell silent.He didn't have anything else to say.Whatever he had been carrying in his heart for all these years was finally out.

While Kunj waited for Twinkle to recover from his talk,Twinkle remained silent.

She didn't know what to say,she couldn't come to terms with the fact that Kunj had been in pain for all these years.

After what felt like forever,Twinkle gathered herself up and started,

Twinkle - "Aarav sirf mera dost hai.Woh humesha se mera dost tha aur humesha mera dost hi rahega."

That's when Kunj looked up to twinkle in shock.

Kunj - "Matlab tum dono ke beech.."

"Kabhi kuch nahi tha aur na kabhi hoga",said Twinkle completing his sentence.

He didn't have anything to say anymore. All his life,Kunj had been living by a misunderstanding made by him and he tried to ruin Twinkle's life for the same. He didn't have enough guts to face her anymore.

Twinkle - "You said you love me?"

Kunj looked up to Twinkle's questioning eyes.

Kunj - "Yes I do"

Twinkle - "No you don't"

Kunj - "I do Twinkle.I do a lot!"

Twinkle - "If you actually loved me then you would have never thought of hurting me ever."

Kunj stayed quiet.He knew he was wrong.

Twinkle - "All this time you were staying in your own delusional world thinking I've done wrong to you...where have I done wrong to you? Even once did you ever thought about coming up to me and telling me that you love me? Why didn't you tell me what was on your mind? Wait I know why,because you didn't have enough guts to do that. You wanted me that's why you tried to ruin me? Bullshit.You tried to ruin my life because I hurt you and you wanted me to suffer just how you had.You think you're the innocent victim in this situation when in reality,You're a big JERK."

Kunj was taken back by Twinkle's outburst.Yes he knew he had done wrong to her but he never imagined her to react like this but then again what else did he expect?

Twinkle - "Let me tell you one thing Mr.Kunj Sarna,I don't know what's your definition of love but for me love is not about possession but to let go.If you had truly loved me then even if you "thought" I was with Aarav then you would have let me go and let me be happy with him but you didn't.For you I was always a property that you wanted to own.
I'm not a property Kunj,I'm a human.What your grandmother said and what you understood are two completely different things.She was just trying to make you strong by saying that but you took that seriously and applied it on me.And that's just disgusting."

Before Kunj could say something,Twinkle got up and started to leave.

Kunj quickly got up and held her hand before she could move forward

Kunj - "Twinkle I'm so so sorry.I don't know what to say that will make you forgive me but I truly am.I was stupid and I didn't know what I was doing.I just thought maybe if I do this then you might give me attention."

"Attention?",Asked Twinkle snapping her hand out of his embrace.

Twinkle - "Attention.How? By trying to harm me? My family? My friends? You really want me to forgive you? I'm not stupid Kunj to trust you again with myself just like I did that night."

This hit Kunj hard.Amongst all this,he had completely forgotten about how he had broken Twinkle by playing with her "body"

Twinkle - "You know when we first met that night,I actually thought something could happen between us,in fact I wished something happened between us but thank god nothing did.I started loving you after that night Kunj and that was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my entire life till now."

Kunj had tears in his eyes listening to her.She finally confessed to him that she loved him but in what situation?

Kunj slowly fell to the ground and joined his Hands together in front of her.

Kunj - "I'm so sorry Twinkle please forgive me.Please give me a chance,I promise I won't do this again.Mein tujhse beintehaan mohobaat karta Hun Twinkle."

Twinkle was crying too but she couldn't show how weak she was right now so she turned away from him.

Twinkle - "The mistake you've made,there is no forgiveness for it.I can't give you a second chance.You don't even know what love means."

Kunj - "If I don't know then you teach me,please twinkle.I've always loved you and will always love you.I can't live without you,please don't be leave me stranded here.I'll do whatever you want,just please forgive me and stay.

Twinkle couldn't see him begging anymore so she fell to the ground too.

"Why why did you do this to me?" Asked Twinlle while crying.

"I'm sorry Twinkle,I'm so sorry",replied Kunj crying.

Both of them held each other's hand and cried.

Kunj - "I promise I'll Change.I'll Change for you.I'll never ever think About hurting you and never create problems for you."

Twinkle - "What if you don't change?"

Kunj - "Then I'll leave.I'll leave your life and never come back.Everyone deserves a second chance,please."

Twinkle - "What about Mr.Bruno?"

Kunj smiled through his tears.So finally she was melting.

Kunj - "I'll buy Myra another Mr.Bruno"

Twinkle - "you need to say sorry to Aarav"

Kunj - "I surely will"

Twinkle - "It's been a while since I've had sex"

Kunj chuckled listening to Twinkle's boldness

Kunj - "We are so having sex tonight."

Twinkle tried hard to surpress her smile.

Twinkle - "You'll take me to shopping everyday?"

Kunj - "Um isn't that too much?"

Seeing Twinke pout,

Kunj - "Okay okay everyday shopping it is.Now will you please give me a second chance."

Twinkle smiled.

Twinkle - "Second chance,given."

Kunj smiled and hugged her while she hugged him back.

While hugging,
Kunj - "Twinkle,all my life I've been taught how to have something by handling it harshly but I promise I'll Change myself."

Twinkle - "I hope so."

Coming out of the hug,Both of them got up.

Twinkle - "Let's go?"

"Yeah",said Kunj grabbing her arm harshly.

Hearing her hiss in pain,he quickly let go of her Hand.

He closed his eyes and sighed as Twinkle's face showed disappointment.

Opening his eyes,he forwarded his hand towards her,

Kunj - "Shall we?"

Twinkle smiled and excitedly pecked his cheeks.

Twinkle - "Good boy,let's go."

Taking his hand in hers,they walked back to their car.

No matter what happened in their past,they knew one thing,ahead of them was nothing but a new beginning.
