@walkthatway i don't think you are being harsh at all loll we both practically have said the same things 😆 and tbh we're coming from a practical and realistic approach and we're not letting our attachment to sid blind us. as for loyalty, we don't have to prove our loyalty to anyone.

this happens all the time even when shakti mohan left d3 i called her out on it and was attacked like crazy 😆😆 it was sooo funny because we have the same name how could i all of a sudden hate her 😆 and i didn't hate her i was just disappointed in her decision and i fully supported her future endeavors like i will to Sid, he's a good actor and i'm sure i'll watch his stuff

Wow, this is a tough one! As happy as I am that he's being recognized for his talent on a broader scale, as a fan I can't help but feel disappointed at his decision. I might sound selfish but realistically speaking, this show gave him the height that he needed for his career. And to leave it midway is a little unprofessional of him. I understand he must've gotten a great offer (and why wouldn't he, he's truly worthy of it) but leaving a show that gave him all he has today is unfair for the audience and other casts and crew.

I'm sorry I might be doing a comparison here. I've only ever strictly followed IPK before TEI and when Barun was offered the movie, he called it quits. Him quitting resulted in the show being axed out completely which personally I thought was absolutely unfair to the remaining cast. Obviously, I'm not saying he had a say whether to cancel the show or not. But closer to the end there was an interview of Sanaya where she had shared her disappointment with the show being canceled. A show consists of many people. It's not a one-man thing. It's bread and butter for not just the actors but the crew that works behind the scenes as well so of course it's completely unfair to them.

Having said that, I'm not saying the situation is exactly the same here but there is a little bit of similarity. I might sound harsh and I apologize for it but I just don't think it's fair to others esp. Jas who has put in so much of her time and effort into this. And not just Jas, Zain and all the remaining cast and crew members. Again, I'm not saying the show is ending but realistically speaking, I think we all know how many people will stick to watching the show once Sid leaves. Viewership of the show will drastically decrease and that's unfair to everyone else.

I'm genuinely happy that he got offered something big and possibly better because he deserves it but at the same time I'm disappointed at his professionalism.

I'm in no way bashing Sid here because I love him too much to do that. I'm just stating my thoughts as an ardent fan of this show. So please refrain from bashing.

im not overtly happy with him trying to quit right away because I think he should stay till his contract expires.

I'm glad about his offers because as an actor, TEI hasn't given him much besides visibility and he's quite talented to make it big.

I remember from intial interviews, he said that he did two films before and he chose TV show because filmmakers are keen on hiring actors with TV background as they are able to reach out to more people. I think his next project is probably a film and with a bigger banner then Zee because he wouldn't put in papers asking to leave right away.

I just hope he stays till his contract expires which probably would be end of June instead of this month.

Ending TEI would be a better option at that point imo too because shows dragging aren't as well remembered and lose on their essence.

Sid is leaving...when one of the fan asked sonika chopra and she confirmed the news that he is leaving😭😭😭...I saw it on instagram...one of the fanclub posted😭
