We are off the transitions and moving towards climax of this tracks before returning back to Amritsar. I love the peak episodes of any track. TEI is brilliant with those episodes. I'm going to be as brief as I could because there isn't much to discuss and if anyone wants background, they can just check previous posts. (Link in signature)
The episode started with Kunj and Twinkle on the truck. A farming tractor symbolisms progress as a farmer uses it to harvest their crops. A presence on farm signifies encouragement. It basically puts on display how Kunj and Twinkle have both been encouraging each other through different situation intentionally and unintentionally to confront their feelings for each other. The conversation inside the tractor signified how both are finally in touch with each other's depth of feelings instead of just knowing that they love each other.
The integration of Holi in this track symbolizes how the power of love will triumph in Twinkle's life. I loved how she called him and started out with a lot of fake-sincerity and then put color on Kunj. The pink color symbolizes unconditional love and Kunj rubbing his cheek against hers symbolized how he loves her back unconditionally as well and would be with her in every step whether it brings the best of situations or the worst along with them.
Kunj's white shirt symbolized his return to his natural self. His thoughts are no longer clouded by the storm of emotions or anger from the past. Twinkle's pink blue and black combination represented her faith in Kunj, her unconditional love for Kunj for which she will go to every extent she can and her fears erupting as Kunj plans to bring in Raja.
I want to touch on Yuvraj's flashback alongside because of his presence in the same field. While Kunj and Twinkle are present in a tractor, a symbol of progress; Yuvraj stands in the same field but by a scarecrow. A scarecrow is a totem of death and fear along with hope and optimism for it protects the crops. Yuvraj had underestimated Twinkle and Kunj's relationship after retuning back from London and still continues to do so, where he think a small lightening can make them erupt in flames but he has also seen the progress and growing feelings both Kunj and Twinkle have for each other and that has brought a sense of insecurity to Yuvraj.
During his child-drama, he was informed that Kunj and Twinkle sleep on separate beds and as long as that distance is maintained, nothing can change the dynamics of Kunj and Twinkle's relationship. He uses the same taunt them back after getting together with Mahi. BUT as soon as he witnessed Twinkle's love that was once for him, being showered on Kunj he started beating himself up and reflecting as a obsessed and scorned lover by calling himself a loser.
> The word "loser" is really important in Yuvraj's dictionary because in his eyes he is a winner by getting all the things he wants. He has always called Kunj a loser since the talks of his alliance with Twinkle began because according to Yuvraj, the biggest trophy between the two was Twinkle which he already possess. Yuvraj's ideology has been repeatedly challenged by Kunj who had regarded Twinkle as an individual and given her the same respect instead of treating her like a trophy. The reason why Kunj still stands as a loser in Yuvi's eyes is because Kunj has not treated Twinkle like a doll as he did but has treated her like a human being.
Yuvi's standing by the scarecrow symbolized his growing fear and despair of losing Twinkle and he with his obsession coming alive, his thought process becomes irrational and he ends up igniting more fire to his obsession then to pull Kunj and Twinkle apart. The hope and optimism of a scarecrow is signified by the keeping away the crows from the crops. Yuvraj has unknowingly become the guardian of Twinkle and Kunj because of his urge to protect Twinkle, who in turn protects Kunj which leads to more blossoming of love between Kunj and Twinkle.
The kidnapping of Kunj indicated how Yuvraj has so many times tried to divert Kunj away from Twinkle but eventually Kunj has found his way back to Twinkle despite all the hurdles thrown in his way by Yuvraj. This particular time, the Chaudhry uncle as a representative of Twinkle and Kunj's family and elder is going to unite the two by being an advocate of justice and truth.
Sangram warning the Chaudhry reflected on how after pushing Kunj away, Yuvraj had overconfidently tried to claim victory and pushed everyone to think against Kunj (the farmhouse incident) however had failed because of Kunj's actions and deeds giving evidence of something otherwise.
Yuvi walking in with and announcing "Holi Hai" meant his announcement of this being the last round of the war he has began. Holi is a festival where truth and righteous prevail over evil, marking the beginning of a new season. The purple splattered over Yuvraj indicated his association with his name, his glamorous lifestyle and his mentality of being able to get whatever he wants to himself. He has entered with plans of erasing Kunj's existence off Twinkle's life and having Twinkle off for himself. The red color on Yuvi's face symbolized his anger and his regenerated energy for his goals. Him putting pink on Twinkle's checks reflected on him being the first one to shower his unconditional love on Twinkle and still carrying the love for Twinkle despite everything that has gone through.
Yuviraj does love Twinkle. In seven years he did create a attachment with Twinkle and her carefree personality but he has been brought up with lessons on revenge, violence and ambitions. These raw and escalated emotions along with his glamorous lifestyle has turned his need for Twinkle to be an obsession. Obsession doesn't start out without love but a obsession cannot revert itself back to love. At one point in their relationship, Yuvraj did love Twinkle just as much as she loved him and those feelings still linger within Yuvraj but they are not strong enough as his obsession and the fires he has started to gain what he wants. His care and wanting Twinkle to be safe is only for his selfish reasons for wanting her to be with him instead of anyone. As long as he is responsible for her hurt, he is okay but the moment someone else hurts and endangers Twinkle, he will tolerate. Nothing in that possessiveness defines love. His call for his Mama ji to leave Twinkle out was out of utter selfishness and for his goal to protect the trophy he has been trying to reclaim.
Instead of using a gun, the Chaudhry pulled out a sword. It is really basic to understand that sword represents warrior of justice, protection, leadership and lots more along the same lines however what really stands out is that a sword combines all the elements of the universe into one. Twinkle and Kunj at one end show how there will be times when everyone could be against them but they will stick by each other because of what is correct and right.
Chaudhry pulls his sword out to protect honor of his family by killing a coward but Twinkle steps in between and spills the beans. Kunj letting his hands being cut by the blade to protect Twinkle symbolized how he may take a backward stance on their relationship and may not always be forefront, he will stand by Twinkle and in this situation, he will protect and go to every lengths to kill the ignorance other possess for their relationship. >> Kunj will be the one to ultimately defeat Yuvraj by providing the strength to Twinkle for her to step before him.
It is to be noted that Chaudhry uncle did not shoot or harm Twinkle and Kunj right away because he has expectations from Twinkle being a witness to her ethics and her standing by the truth at a tough time where she can finally speak up. Ordering both to be tied up together na being thrown together signified how he will stand by what is correct and justified. Yuvi and Sangram may still belittle Kunj and Twinkle's relationship but the Chaudhry won't because he is a man of principals.
The hug between the two afterwards was really great as it symbolized how they are not afraid to use their right on one another in any kind of situation. It also showed how Twinkle wanted to be the one to provide strength to Kunj after he had drained himself by protecting her.
Kunj's anger comes out when the people who are dear to him and he loves and cherishes the most are threatened. His anger and rage knows no bounds and Twinkle is the only person who has the ability to calm him down. He uses the word 'bachpana' to point out Twinkle's impulsiveness and how she forgets everything in order to rescue the person she loves. He is not fond of Twinkle's self-sacrificing nature and trait because it puts her on a dangerous edge as well. It's a double edged sword so there's no winning for him or her in this conversation but I really like how his rage and anger was maintained in the last scene as without his anger, Kunj will not be himself.
The episode overall is marking it's way towards the end of this sub-track. It was well executed and all performances were really great. I''m typing up in great hurry so have only pointed out at things that seem more important then the rest.
