Do you think this show moves too fast?

I can't believe I'm saying this about any Indian tv serial, but sometimes I feel like this show is moving way faster than its counterparts and as a result the secondary characters and story lines aren't developed properly.

- Once Kunj came on board after discovering Yuvi's child act, Yuvi was gone in a few episodes.
- RT came and that resolved in 5 episodes, and now his only role is to be the resident idiot father along with Manoher. Why not develop the relationship between the three family members more?
- Usha never liked Twinkle but we rarely see her, maybe every 20 episodes or so
- No idea where Kunj's brother and bhabhi with their cute son are
- Doesn't Kunj have a sister? No mention of her.
- What happened to Twinkle's cute cousin?
- Even Cherry is rarely seen these days
- Mahi came on the scene so suddenly, why couldn't they have brought her on solo, developed her story with Yuvi, and then maybe this MahiRaj business would be more believeable--I feel like a big portion of why all of us hate Mahi is because not only is she stupid, she's the sort of stupid I have no sympathy for because I know next to nothing about her other than her stupidity. This chick is supposed to be the parallel lead, but she's not even close to being that
- Kunj enrolling in MBA--we are shown almost no classes, it's like that story was only brought on to show Maya
- When will Manoher and his family get the money back? Are they even trying?
- A good example is also this Purvi business--she's supposed to be arrested tomorrow or Friday, which means her track was only 5 days. Definitely could've made her a more formidable villain
- Kunj's ex Anita or Aliya or whatever he name was--she left within a span of a few episodes after Kunj discovered her truth. Why hasn't she been brought back? I feel like her and Yuvi would've been an excellent team!
- What happened to Leela and Anita's business rivalry--why aren't we showing these women in the workplace and introduce some secondary storylines that way. It just seems like both of them now just stay at home, which is such a disappointment

Anyways, at some moments this show moves really slowly (like Yuvi being a child and now this Mahi being an idiot) but most of the times I feel like it's moving too fast. I want this show to go on for a while, and one of the best ways to do that is to have strong secondary characters rather than just focus on the main leads. This way nobody burns out (and we don't have to use body doubles) and the show still remains interesting.

Anyways, just my thoughts. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Majority of soaps make a good long run because of the leads and audience has little patience for new antagonist introduced every other week or the storyline developed in a way that includes all the characters. In an episode of 30 minutes, you need to include 15 minutes of lead interaction and romance in order to get good TRP.
To get the leads to agree on one thing or another, you need a driving force that pushes them together and majority of indian soaps have the antagonist unknowingly playing that role or one family member.

it doesn't leave much time to focus on other characters as to keep the story fresh and running, they need to keep introducing new tracks in which the hero and heroine prove the strength of their bond and wha not.

Although i would love to see all the points you've mentioned. Especially Bubbly's character was a total TWINJ shipper so would love to see her trying to hangout with Twinkle and Knuj and have them be romantic in front of her. But its just way too much to expect.

I honestly don't understand TRPs. Garbage like Kumkum Bhagya is ruling Zee TV when the leads barely interact 2 minutes, and it's always for the male lead to say the same old line of, "you are heartless ruthless, etc." to the female lead. And shows that end up running multiple years like Yeh Rishta have largely been able to do that because of the focus on the secondary characters, and the main leads helping, but not predominating the entire show. I mean, I definitely don't think there is 7 years worth of storyline here and I would want our three leads to move on to bigger and better things, but I am worried if everything, including the romantic scenes and their romance, are rushed, then we'll be out of commission by the one year mark (or in the case of Survi and Kartik, barely at 100 episodes mark--prime example of a love story horribly rushed). Seriously, if this was a Kekta show, Kunj and Twinkle would just be getting married 😆. Even their stares at each other aren't as long as other shows (the leads staring at each other gets annoying but even their eye locks are rushed!).

Lmao don't worry, I feel the same! All the people/tracks you mentioned, I agree, it felt rushed! Like I started feeling this way when Yuvi got exposed as a bad guy before Twinj got married, I thought more subtle things would take place first but this show definitely moves fast. I would love to see Bubbly come back and I miss Ishaan! Completely and absolutely agree about the Mahi thing, we hate her because she was thrown at us and that too in such a bad way so it's all oh hell no stay way from my babies LOL.

Omg YVR I'm like damnnn ya'll moving fast, I want some kinda build up LOL. Twinj's relationship isn't building at crazy speed but the tracks are executed hella quickly. I guess on one hand it's really good because in Qubool Hai, Asad and Zoya never got to complete their story before KSG's contract ended and he chose to leave which made the show go downnn the drain So I'm okay with this speed as long as it doesn't end all too quickly LOL. Also, I wouldn't mind Alisha coming back and teaming up with Yuvi ooo!
