Ok guys this OS might sound cliched and same old stuff but this dead forum needs some life so i wrote this hoping it brings all us members together.
I might write a different one with jealously buT this one i wanted to portray twinkle and kunj as a very secure couple.hope you like it.
Chinky watched her friend Mona walk over to Kunj and winced.
She had met her at college and they became fast friends. She thought it would be a good idea to introduce her to her group of friends at this dinner party hosted by twinkle. Mona had said she didn't have many friends in Amritsar yet and Chinky always being the welcoming type had just the solution for it. They had organized a small get together with friends in one of the restaurants kunj's dad owned.
Chinky realized she should have told her friend the attractive man she was walking towards was taken,she moved to warn her off but Twinkle laid a hand on her arm,stopping her.
she looked at Twinkle and saw her with a small secret smile watching Mona hit on Kunj
''leave it alone Chinky.'' Twinkle said that smile still flickering on her face as she turned towards the pool table.
"but doesn't it bother you?" Chinky questioned. "i mean she is not being subtle about it and he is your husband."
"no it doesn't bother me"twinkle said.
"Why the hell not?" chinky demanded confused. "coz i have to say if that was my man i would be over there slapping the hell out of her."
Twinkle shook her head and took a shot,pool balls scattered in all directions. "Kunj loves me." Twinkle simply said looking up. "absolutely. he would never do anything to hurt me. So every woman on the planet can come in here and hit on him and it wouldn't bother me.because i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that at the end of the night he will be coming home with me."
Chinky stared at her best friends and glanced over at the counter. Mona was still flirting hard but Kunj's eyes were glued to twinkle as she took another shot at pool.
As if sensing his eyes on her twinkle looked up and met his gaze,she smiled and kunj mouthed "I love you"
Chinky shook her head in disbelief and moved around the table to line up her shot.
"well i must be loosing my touch."Mona said coming over to their table. "I played my A game and he wasn't paying any attention whatsoever."
Twinkle smirked at that and leaned over to take her shot.
Chinky looked between them both deciding what would be a good time to tell her Kunj was twinkle's husband.
"seriously i think he must be gay." Mona said. "No one can ignore that type of flirting."
"Who's gay?" Nikki asked coming over to their table.
"Kunj." Twinkle said laughing.
"not in this century." Nikki snorted.
Twinkle smiled at the woman.
"Not gay Mona just completely taken."
Just then kunj arrived."are u done talking about me" Kunj asked walking up behind twinkle and wrapping his arms around her.
Thats when it dawned on Mona why Twinkle was laughing. they were the power couple newspapers had been talking about.
"she was Yuvraj's girlfriend." Mona said with a glare at Kunj but it wasn't anger over twinkle's ex it was pure jealousy. she thought if she pointed twinkle's flaws she would have upper hand by degrading the woman. The stupid woman didnt know how regressive she had sounded or she had just been added on kunj's hit list. Anyone who tried to hurt twinkle by bringing up her past had not been spared ever.
"WAS." twinkle reponded flatly. and this time when her eyes met mona's there was no smile on her face. "and get over yourself. not every man has to fall at your feet or be gay."
"Even men in relationships flirt Twinkle specially when i do it." Mona said condescendingly
"Seemed desperate to me." Kunj quipped.
"Dont be rude kunj jeeju." chinky said trying desperately to keep peace in the gathering.
"Thats the message you should have told your friend chinky." Kunj responded his eyes flashing warning.
she can try at me all she wants but when she starts snapping at twinkle i am going to end it."
"Well i am so sorry the little girl cant handle playing in the big leagues." Mona sneered.
Twinkle looked up and once again smiled at Mona.
"Thats just the problem though isn't it Mona." Twinkle said. "because i am not playing.not anymore. I got the guy. Game Set Match."
(Game set match is a sport term used to say i am the ultimate winner)
when she saw everyone in the group was looking at her with contempt,their looks saying she had it coming.
she huffed before heading away.
Twinkle shook her head and lined up her shot again.
"You will never make it the angle is wrong." Kunj muttered.
"show me" she said to him.
Kunj grinned and wrapped his arms around her to line the shot.
"thats cheating."chinky protested.
They continued playing and laughing until twinkle won the game.
"We make a very good team dont we." twinkle turned into his arms so she was face to face. Chinky had gone muttering about being ganged up on by jeeju and her own BFF.
"Was there any doubt Mrs Sarna?"
"With you by my side? Never." Twinkle said and they headed out into the night hand in hand.
