I feel like she said it more as a taunt?? If I remember correctly wasn't the line something like, "Oh just because your wife came that doesn't mean we have to change our traditions". It was basically her saying that pre-marriage Kunj had no problem with all these rituals but now that he got married he's objecting to everything. It's as if Twinkle's "modernity" is influencing him.
