Twinkle Taneja: The only child of Leela Taneja and a mute girl (she cannot speak) But she was not like this from birth. Despite being mute Twinkle is an intelligent student. She is a B.Com graduate and can do all the work normally except speak. She mostly writes to communicate with people. In love with Yuvi.

Kunj Sarna: A normal middle class boy whose aim in life is to keep his mother happy and become a successful mechanical engineer. He has completed his B.Tech and works in a reputed MNC in Amritsar.

Yuvraj Luthra: The only son of Anita Luthra. Luthras are the family enemies of Tanejas. In relationship with Twinkle.

Leela Taneja: Twinkle's mother. Is always sad because an incident snatched two precious things of her life i:e Twinkle's sweet voice and her husband but does not shows this to Twinkle. Hates Luthras.

Kuljeet Taneja: Twinkle's father. Dead

Manohar Sarna: Kunj's father. A middle class man who only loves money.

Usha Sarna: Kunj's mother. Loves her son a lot.

Anita Luthra: Yuvraj's mother. Evil to the core. Hates Tanejas.

Pardeep Luthra: Yuvraj's father.

Note: If Twinkle converses with someone that would be through writing notes and also she will have thoughts in her mind.

The whole world seemed still. The only thing I could know was that I was in his arms completely safe and sound. Now I am not afraid anymore of anything in the world. Everything felt so right as I rested my head on him and felt butterflies in my stomach as soon as I felt his hand on my bare waist. And our bodies swayed together in the motion of the music in the darkness of the night in the garden. Everything was so heavenly. Jab bhi main use sapne mein dekhti hu toh mujhe aisa lagta hai ki wahi mere sare problems ka solution wahi hai. Meri in khamoshiyon ki awaaz hai. Meri in khamoshiyaan ka jawaab dene aaya hai. Kash ek baar mein uska chehra dekh leti. Par main is sabke bare mein itna kyu soch rahi hun jabki mujhe pura yakeen hai ki ab meri life ke sare swaalon ka jawaab sirf mera Yuvi hai aur ismein suspence bhi kya hai. Main bekaar mein hi pareshan hoke apne dimaag ko tension deti ja rahi hun. Aur tensions kam hai life sabse badi toh Yuvi aur mere rishte ko leke swaal khada hai. Kya hum dono ki families kabhi is rishte ko manegi?'

Twinkle was disturbed from her thoughts with the arrival of her beautiful but style concisious mami Twinkle hum sab kabse downstairs nashte ke liye tera waiting waiting kar rahe hain jeee aur tu yahaan apne khyali pulaav cookings kar rahi hai. Chal fastly ready hone downstairs aaja.' Twinkle writes in her favourite pink note pad Ji Pinni mami aap chaliye main bas 5 minute mein tyar hoke niche aayi.'

At the Breakfast Table

Didi ji jaldi se tell tell karo jee ki aapne aaj sab ko subah subah itni jaldi kyu uthaya aur sabko tyar bhi kar diya. Aapne kaha tha ki kuchh important wala batana hai. Aap bahut excited lag rahi ho. Jaldi bataao na we are all waiting hum sab bhi thoda happy ho lenge.' Pinni was all excited seeing her nanad excited. Pinni main bhi kab se wait kar rahi hu yeh khush khabri dene ka bas thoda inteaar karo Twinkle ko bhi aane do niche phir batati hu.' Leela was eagerly waiting for her daughter to come downstairs to break a good news to her beautiful family. Pinni sees Twinkle arrive to the breakfast table all ready Phir toh more waiting ki zaroorat nahi kyuki Twinke has come jee. Twinkle achha hua tum aa gayi warna hum sab toh yahan suspence se hi dead ho jate ji ki Leela Didi humein kya batane wali hai'

Toh good news yeh hai ki aaj Twinkle ko dekhne ladke wale aa rahe hai.' Leela spoke the secret of her happiness. Arey wah puttar kya khabar sunayi hai aaj main apni naatin ke liye bahut khush hun. Aisa lagta hai kal hi toh Leela maine tujhe byaha tha aur aaj Twinkle ko bhi vidaa karne ki bari aa gayi itni jaldi.' Twinkle's nanaji were all teary eyed while announcing Twinkle's vidaai. Didi ji aap unki family ke bare mein toh bataao who bhi bade hi rich honge na jee humari tarah.'

Sirf paison se hi toh koi ameer nai hota Pinni dil bada hona chahiye aur sanskaar achhey. Sarnas bahut hi achhi family hai. Middle class hai par family values mein bahut hi rich hai aur unke bete ke bare mein toh maine itna suna hai. Meri purani saheli hai na Pammi tumhein woh yaad hai Pinni woh apni Twinkle ki hone wali buaa saas ho jayegi. Usi ne mujhe Sarnas ke bare mein bataya aur main pehle khud unke ghar jaake unke ghar ladke se milke aayi hu. Woh bahut hi suljha aur samjhdaar hai. Usko ek nazar dekhte hi main samjh gayi thi ki usse achha ladka humari Twinkle ke liye nahi milega.Woh humari Twinkle ko bahut khush rakhega.' Leela was very happy to find a perfect groom for her daughter. Finally she could see her only dream in life come true. But unknown to her daughter's dream to marry her enemy's son Leela had already wedded her daughter in her mind to the guy she thought was perfect for her Twinkle.

All the sadness of Twinkle was now becoming more evident on her face. The pain of shattering dreams was clearly visible in her eyes. Before anybody could notice anything Twinkle thought it was best to leave the table.

Yeh dekho abhi toh shaadi ki baat shuru huyi hai aur yeh ladki sharma kar running bhi kar rahi hai.' Pinni thought the reason Twinkle ran away was her shyness but nobody at this time would understand her pain.
