LOLL, trust me, when I was writing as Twinkle going away, I was stressed out myself. Like, does this even make sense? Is it in Twinkle's character (the way she was being written in this story) for her to leave. That too at a time when her family and husband needs her the most. But given her mental anguish, I figured you all would let it pass. :P

I had actually wanted Kunj's thoughts to be more geared towards his family, perhaps his mother or father. But then I thought, if Kunj's last coherent thought before he became unconscious was of Twinkle, then wouldn't it make sense for his immediate thought when he wakes up to be the same? It is after all him just picking up where he left off and then accustoming himself to the environment around him. So that's why Twinkle happened to be his first and last thought.

That is true and you have said it beautifully. Living in a joint family has its merits and its downfalls. Yes, people have unconditional love for their family members but once it starts to infringe upon the mental health of the individual; that's when the line needs to be drawn.
