11. 1 (one) contestant out of the total 9 (Nine) contestant/ Wild Card Participants mentioned in Rule 4 will qualify as finalist in the "Program" along with those who have already been qualified/shall qualify through other episodes of the "Program", on the basis of the number of votes he/she receives from the viewers and the scores obtained by the contestant/ Wild Card Participant from the Judges for his/her performance in the "Round" of the Program. The weightage given to the votes received from the viewers and the scores given by the Judges shall be equal. The contestant/Wild Card Participant securing the maximum weighted average of both the votes and scores shall qualify for the finals. In addition, the channel reserves the right to nominate at its discretion 1 (one) contestant/Wild Card Participant for the finals to compete along with those who have already been qualified/shall qualify through other episodes of the "Program".

I'm confused by the part in red... does that mean 2 contestants will be selected? one based on public votes & judges' score (weighted average) & another decided by Vijay TV? 😉
