Vamsam Episode 165, Thursday 16/01/14

Ranga says that Annachi will do everything with a reason, Shakthi asks why he isn't telling them the reason behind this act. Ranga tells her to ask him herself to which she says she will do so now.

Vasantha tells her husband that they should go to Chennai tomorrow as their arrival here has caused some unnecessary tensions. Nagu comes and tells them to stay longer but says that she will arrange the lawyer to come soon for the wealth exchange.

Shakthi comes to Annachi's house where she receives an angry welcome by the two brothers. Shakthi wants to know why he is angry towards them even though he has so much love and affection towards them shown by the fact that he had them watched over. She wants to know why he is nit pouring the affection he poured towards her before when she worked as a cook. She tells Annachi of how Vasantha although seperated from him doesn't let even a second pass without thinking and talking about him. Shakthi says that she has failed in uniting the siblings but she at least wants to know the reason for Annachi's stubbornness. Annachi says that he isn't prepared to talk to anyone who don't listen to him. Shakthi says that they will go to Chennai immediately.

PM comes to MottaBaskar to give him money to set a bomb on Shakthi's car before they set off for Chennai tomorrow...

Vamsam Episode 166, Friday 17/01/14

Shakthi says that they need to go to Chennai tonight and then see what Annachi does afterwards. Shakthi tells Nagu to bring the document once its ready to Chennai and the three will sign it. Nagu tells her husband to phone PM and tell him about the change of plan of bombing the car tonight itself. He sets the bomb under the car while Shakthi and co are having their last dinner in Nagu's house. They then go upstairs to pack. While downstairs, PM tells Nagu of how the there's life will end tonight. Arukani hears this but Nagu sees her. She corners Arukani into the kitchen away from Shakthi. Shakthi and co leave. Arukani tries to call her, Nagu snatches the phone and they tie Arukani to the chair. Outside, MottaBhaskar assures that the bomb will explode...

Vamsam Episode 167, Saturday 18/01/14

DP comes home and finds Arukani tied up. Arukani explains and DP tells her to pack up, he will leave her in Ranga's house then go and warn Shakthi. As they leave, Nagu spots them and tells MottaBhaskar & co to chase them. Meanwhile Annachi comes across Vasantha & co. He gives her their mum's jewellery and explains why he acted to hate them and how happy he is that they are now going to Chennai alive and haven't fallen into Nagu's evil traps. Vasantha is over the moon. DP comes and warns Shakthi that her mum has arranged to kill them. The rowdy group approach them and DP tells Shakthi & co to go. DP gets into a Kollywood fight sequence but someone hits him on his head with a stick. Annachi comes and chases everyone away. He falls to the ground. The car blows up.

Vamsam Episode 169, Tuesday 21/01/14

Nagu breaks down crying at seeing DP in critical condition. The doctor confirms that his life is not threatened but they cannot say anything else before he wakes up. Two guys surrender and say that Annachi told them to set the bomb. Annachi enters his house with blood stains. He pours a tub of water over him washing his memory of a guy saying that he will be framed for Vansantha's murder. Inside, he hangs Senthil and Vasantha's photo saying that he tried his very best to keep them alive. He gets arrested. PM tells Nagu that they can only find two bodies. He says that maybe a passerby admitted Shakthi in a hospital and left without informing the police. Nagu assignes PM to search every hospital in town. KV, MV and Ranga talk to the lawyer and point Arukani as their supporting evidence.
