Now that Tappu sena has been caught bunking classes, the whole GD society have now organized a humiliation party for the three criminals of the society. Each of them will be given a Gutlimaar trophy to felicitate their achievement of bunking classes.

Lets for a moment not think whether bunking is a good practice or not. Rationally, all of us have bunked classes. Who didn't will bunk class in future. That happens whether you call it bad or good. Nevertheless, that's not an issue here but what is interesting that these GD wasis are doing this. This Jethalal and Mehta who forged documents to appease Babita in the last track are talking about ethics. This Bapuji and other people who went to meet their favourite stars while faking their identity is doing this felicitation and this Daya who is an ardent fan of Topibaaz Sundar is talking about morals. Wah re wah ye Kalyug ki gokulnagri !!!

Thoda daant do na bacche ko... Kaan pakadwao but why this social humiliation ? What will they do if these three take any drastic step after this incident. Its happening everywhere. There had been instances of kids taking dangerous decisions after such humiliation. Punishment bhi Gokuldham parivar ka hath pakad ke karna hota hai ????

Great post !

I have been watching the show on and off. and each time I watch I get mad at myself for watching it.

What you wrote is something I was also thinking yesterday. Humiliating them in such a way was really too much. What does Asit Modi wants to say here? What was the issue ? Bunking classes or hiding it from parents? What's the age of these teens ? what do you expect them to do ?

No I won't say ' bacche to bacche hote hain, galti ho jaaati hain'.

Why not talk to your kids in private ? Tell them not to break the trust of parents but this was too much.

And Bhide needs to be told firmly to calm down about Sonu. He being a teacher, I am surprised how he does not realise how much pressure he is putting on his daughter from his expectations. He is being authoritarian. Sonu can totally rebel one day and I will not blame her.

Very true dey.bh and aarti. Somewhere I feel that writers are gradually making some characters turn hypocrites. And in the current track mehta says that they are just 'bachhe' and not 'shatir apradhis' but the kind of sarcastic measure the parents are using to teach their kids looked as if tapu sena has committed some serious kind of crime. Agreed bunking classes is not good and can turn into a habit but this sarcasm of highest order for first time wrongdoers is bit too much. In fact the kids should be punished first for covering up their wrong doing so effortlessly.

It was like look who is talking about ethics

Ok agreed bunking classes is not good but it wasn't that big issue either

And for that keeping a humiliation party was just too much

This EKTA UNITY thing of Gokuldham society is irritating now

Ok good you have ekta

But i don't think involving society members in all the issues of your house is required

And children of this age group won't even tolerate if they are humiliated this way infront of whole society

Gokuldham wasis need to understand what scolding is and what humiliation is

I really wonder if there is any educated person in the society

Popatlal is he really a reporter?

Being a reporter he should know what drastic steps children take these days

hi there... I was thinking the same. It was really humiliating kind of episode. Even my bro was saying what if someone from tappu sena commits sucide or run away from home.ek or baat ki Iyer-Babita, Mehta sahab- anjali,and popat lal ka vahaan kya kam tha.

GD wasis have become hypocrites for a long time now .. especially daya and bapuji..

Not to forget the times when all males of Gokuldham enjoy their secret parties on so many occasions and were even caught playing cards in the early days of the serial.

I don't know if bunking class is a major or minor mistake. The kind of humiliation they did was not needed at all.

I strongly agree on of the points also where you have mentioned Daya's praise for her topibaaz brother sundar who believes in just taking money out of Jetha's pocket
