The festival of light, Diwali has arrived and small screen actors are all set to celebrate this festival with lots of fun. On this occasion, children usually love to celebrate by bursting crackers but the members of Tapu Sena from serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah pledge the children to not do so.

Recently, Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi) and Sonu (Nidhi Bhanushali) were spotted painting diyas on the set. And guess what, they had a social reason behind it. Talking about the same, Bhavya Gandhi says, "Tapu Sena has been the inspiration for the young generation. And so on this occasion, I just want to convey a simple message to my fans that please do not burst crackers. In fact, celebrate green or eco-friendly Diwali. There are lots of ill-effects of fire crackers and our main aim is to create awareness for the same."

Adding more to it, Nidhi Bhanushali says, "The main objective of this diya painting activity is to bring awareness among our viewers against noise and air pollution. I just want to request my fans to not burst crackers; in fact use that money to bring joy and happiness to the needy people."

Great message...very needed at this time...please stop
polluting environment and spreading noise...

there are heart patients, elders, animals, children who
get affected or injured in process, poor children work in
such factories that make crackers get subjected to
grave dangers and also our only abode planet earth
suffers, keep it habitable.

Actually the original Sanskrit correct word of Deewali is
Deepavali ( Deepa - Diyas and Abali - collection of )...so
Deepavali is meant to be celebrated by only lighting diyas
to fight the dark moonless night of Amabasyaa, no where
either tradition or Puja-bidhi says we have to have crackers...
