Just going through the episodes of this Khusi track. So, the GD basis used their own brain and logic to find the parent of the Amulya chiz found from the temple premises. I wonder what made them realise that the baby has only lost her mother and she was't abandoned ? I mean a baby was lying there without an attendant in a deserted temple. The appropriate word I would say is Bhagwan bharose. SInce losing the child was a deliberate attempt I assume the parent didn't really think she was Amulya dhan or something.
Nevertheless, they published an advertisement without revealing they have found a baby. Instead the word Amulya chiz was given much importance. Accordingly a fraction of Mumbai's population appeared in the GD society which looked more like a hearing or say an auction. I am glad none of those who came thought the people here were distributing Amulya cheese as a Pre- Baisakhi offer.
Now comes our Chapli Sena. While the men were to interrogate the people who came, the Chapli Sena were to stand behind them with of course Daya holding the baby. I know the logic of equality is given importance but I assume the way to show it should change when there is baby in your arms. For generally babies don't appreciate crowds. and also, Jetha uncle used his little brain which the Amdavadi brother- sister duo hasn't snatched away yet and asked Daya to step back with the child. And interestingly she did. All the ladies got back as if to enter Anjali aunty's house but Anjali used her own common sense and brought Tarak's chair from the verandah and placed it where ? Yes, in the society compound. Thus, to avoid people ( those who came) she actually sat in the chair along with the child.
Now, while standing there with a baby was quite a noticeable thing, wasn't suddenly sitting on a chair was far more worse thing to do ?
I understand women should participate everywhere. Let Daya participate with other women. I have no issues with it. But wasn't it appreciable if at least one of the women would stay at home with the child ? If that sounds unfair then at least do it in turns but keep the baby away from the unwanted and undesirable limelight.
While its interesting how the show points out a rather serious issue of how a girl child is detested in our country, its also amusing why a comedy show should try to bring comedy out of it. Should I say the show actually has quit to offer anything comic and now is playing safely with track which will hit the chords of the human hearts and thus they will appreciate it even if its not comic at all ? I should say I appreciate the scenes with the child but still I want some more of humour which actually is the base line of the show and also the channel which airs it.
Another issue is unwanted dragging. Are they sure they have a story here ? I see none. Most probably a woman whose husband doesn't want the child gave her away in the temple. She must have closely watched Daya when she took the baby with her. If I think PP's prediction of some poor family man one like a rickshawallah sounds proper. Basically the woman will be in tears when she will find how mcuh people love her daughter and will seek forgiveness. Finally all will forgive her.If the show has taken the pain to showcase the various social evils and problems of our country it must also have the responsibility to show what happens to the people who do not follow law and order. I strongly condemn the way Gulabo was let off in the end or the way Bulbul married her lover .
Following PP's footsteps I am predicting a long pravachan on beti bachao, beti padhao policy this time. So, if Sab Tv is still going on with their daily quiz on twitter then its time they should ask the TMKOC audience. Whose Pravachan would you like this time, Tarak's or Champak's ?
