Disha gives a surprise on stage
The cast of SAB TV's popular shows recently shot a special Holi episode. Jethalal and Daya Gada (played by Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani, respectively) of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah anchored the event and also performed a dance number.
Dilip and Disha were to dance to a fast-paced Bollywood song. Initially, it was decided that a group of dancers will perform first, with the couple joining them later. However, Disha insisted that she wanted to be a part of it from the start. Though everyone had doubts about the actress learning the difficult steps, she danced with elan.
Dilip said, "When Disha said she wanted to do the difficult steps, I was not sure she could manage it. But she surprised me; and her enthusiasm rubbed off on me and we gave a perfect performance."
SAB Ki Filmy Holi airs on March 17 at 9 pm on SAB TV.
