yes champak chacha should really stop scolding jetha like a school kid at least in front of the society members and his grown up son. I know he truly loves his son but he does over do things which is really annoying.

He supports daya & tappu without even asking Jetha's pov. I know he really can't scold his DIL but atleast let jetha handle tappu instead of stopping jetha from advising tappu.

All of a sudden he is become super human and to that everyone seems so nolble to exist in kalyug. They just do mahan karya see even tappu sena doing some noble so different from today's younger generation;

As long as it is just a comedy show, I am very much okay with his character but when they insert morality and ethics the whole things turns different. When he can hit Jetha as well his mates for taking alcohol( there was a track where he took to caning as a punishment for party sharty), why cant he jsut tell Daya when she is wrong or even sundar when he is conning jethalal? He even humilates popat and bhide then why special concession to sundar?The makers are just confused with this character. At a time, he is generous, understanding and intelligent dadaji and at other time he is stupid like his son 😆 He is sometimes so brave to fight a bull in his village and then he is the one afraid of dogs .

you are rite debby...as far as comedy goes its alrite...but sometimes he is unfair and over the top.. that must be avoided...agree with all your observations.
