Is Aiyer capable of being a scientist?

The personality of Aiyer and the way he carries himself is absolutely antithesis to what we think of scientists. He has average IQ ( and sometimes even below average IQ), has an ego problem with Jethalal, runs to Tarak Mehta for every problem, is cunning (has been seen making plans to outwit Jethalal), etc.

Please comment.

He often talks about Newton's law and stars and so in serial his work may be related to astronomy, physics or engineering (not life science).

Regarding IQ, I am a scientist and I have an average IQ. Creativity is imp than IQ. Although I do agree he does not talk much about science..and neither his decisions are always logical. Writers should make him more sciency by making him talk something about science during soda discussions same way as Tarak Mehta talks about his articles and Bhide about his classes.

Aiyers a tamilian. Most tamilians are quite intelligent and excel in studies. They may look traditional but they occupy high positions. It is cv's mistake if his talent is not showcased.

Even Sodhi doesn't look like a car mechanic from the way he dresses and the sophisticated office bag he carries! :D

Aiyyer had refused to believe in the Bhootni crap.
ego problem with Jethalal, and cunning= because Jethuk keeps flirting with his wife.
Sometimes even below average IQ)= Only because Jethalal traps him into some stupid verbal duet e.g. John Jaani Janardan and Joker.
runs to Tarak Mehta for every problem= Rarely.
