Why Jetha doesnt buy a vehicle:@Mercy of rickshaws

At present Jetha is the richest party living in the society, yet he doesn't own any vehicle!

1. Even Bhide (the master with weakest financial position in the society) owns a scooter. (whether the scooter starts on first kick or not, that is a different matter but he 'owns' a vehicle: that is a fact)
2. Iyyer owns a car: Recall the hair-cutting episode after Jetha returned from London. When Babita-ji asked him, how did he know that she was waiting for rickshaw, Jetha said because he knew that Iyyer always takes the car and never lets her use it.
   
3. Sodhi owns a jeep.
4. Mehta: no vehicle. (Again doesn't feel right, because he is shown as a famour writer, owns a laptop but no vehicle!)
   
5. Haathi: no vehicle, all thanks to his giant size.
6. Popatlal: No vehicle, was asking for lift from Bhide during spammer track. But in any case for an irritating negative-bigot like him deserves neither a vehicle nor a wife. 🤢
   
7. Even that side-character Rita reporter owns a honda-activa!

And yet our hero Jethalal is at the mercy of rickshaw-drivers, doesn't own a vehicle!
Agreed that lot of humor plots are created out of the rickshaw-scene, but this just doesn't feel right that Bhide and Rita have scooter and Jetha doesn't own anything!

Yes, he is probably the richest and can easily own 10 cars (5 lakhs each). Remember he was ready to invest in a GKS flat for about 60 lakhs.

If it was real he would be surely have one car. But as far as the serial goes:
(a) A car would destabilize the equal status among GKS members. Iyer's car is shown only sometimes. And the writers try to show all members as of equal importance.
(b) Rikshaw plots will not happen.

I have noticed Mrunal...you always write things pretty neatly in points and bold words of importance...Impressed.!
