Story:
Tappu finds a medal, Tarak & co. goes to return the medal to Angry Colonel, who doesn't want to take it because he's angry at everything happening in India from 2G, CWG, Aadararsh, to Big Boss, Guzaarish etc.

Again 'Chak De India' copy, when Colonel comes every family says I'm from xyz state but noone says I'm from India.

But tell me::::
Suppose you're a Punjabi and I'm a Gujarati and we meet for the first time in India or outside India, what will I say to you ?
I'm from Gujarat.
You'll say I'm from Punjab.

But if we are in UK /US and you're a non-Indian person, then I'm not going to say I'm from Gujarat, I'll say I'm from India.

So the point is, when two Indians meet, why it is taboo for them to mention their state names according to these Jingoistic people???

There are no laughter flares in this track. Only patriotic speeches by Taarak Mehta every second minute.

We know the outcome too. Once everyone is finished dancing on the stage, Colonelsaab's heart will change and he'll accept the medal back. OR he may give it to the Tappu Sena.

When they don't have any story, they'll organize some festival-celebration with every couple dancing.
While the dance by our beloved characters is good but Colonel is an uninvited and boring character in this track.
Reminds me of that boring Munnelal Magician stuff.

Just 2 days back, Lapataagunj also had similar track : crippled soldier returns to village, given a petrolpump on a highway that doesn't exist. So he decides to start public-awareness campaign.

While we all respect our nation and our army, Tarak Mehta's job / Karm is to make us laugh, not give lectures.

Col. has some jinx against people calling themseleved guju or pujnu 😆 . On second thought i think whatever col said make some sense about india. Soldiers they contribute a lot towards the development and safety of a country and there's so much truth in it.
Hope col goes home happy after dadaji "bharat ka rahena wala hooo song" ..😆 all well that end well. 😆

i agree that tarak mehta'a job is to make us laugh but i dont think they were giving us lectures. I think they just want to get the message across to everyone which is very nice. Everything they have showed always has a message behind it. 😃😛

I agree with you. I was thinking the same. There was no need for anybody to say that they were from India as it was already known to the colonel. So there is nothing wrong in mentioning the state's name.
