Guys before proceeding to the story, I want to mention some points which will help in you in reading the story clearly. Here shekhar and ram are friends from their childhood. They live together in a house. There are no unwanted characters ( I hope you all understood what I mean) in my story. Sanskar doesn't have any sister in this story. So after reading this, you all can proceed with the story and let me what you felt.

Belle maison

Two kids of age 13 were running in the garden chasing each other making the other members of the house, who were standing near the balcony,laugh at seeing them. The boy shouted, " Shona ki bachi main tujhe nahi chodne wala". The girl replied, " pehele pakad to sahi sunny ke bache". After some unsuccessful attempts, the boy caught hold of the girl pulling her towards him. Due to the sudden pull, both of them fell on the ground with the girl on top of the boy. Both of them closed their eyes and held each other for support.

The family members saw them falling down rushed towards them. By the time, both of them got up and dusted their hands. Sharmishta twisting the girl's ear asked her, " tu kabhi sudhregi nahi na swara. Kyun humesha us bechare sanskar ko tang karti rehti hai haan".

The boy smiled teasingly seeing he girl until he felt that someone was twisting his ear too. " mom please chodiye bohot dard ho raha hai" said sanskar. " mishti is shaitan ne hi kuch kiya hoga warna cutie uske peeche nahi padti" said sujata supporting her cutie, swara.

" mom maine kuch nahi kiya hai. Sachi" said sanskar trying to free himself from his mom's clutches. " nahi pie maine kuch nahi kiya hai. Is sanskar ne mera favourite pen kahi chupa diya. Aur agar mang rahi hoon to nahi de raha tha. Is liye maine uske science class work ko apne paas rakh liya" said swara trying to defend herself.

Sharmishta and sujata left their children's ears shaking their heads unbelievably for the reasons given by their children. Sujata ordered sanskar to give swara's pen back while sharmishta told swara to give his science class work back. Both of them made faces but seeing their mothers' angry face, they quietly went to their rooms and brought the things. Both the mothers asked to say sorry to each other and return back the things. Swara and sanskar, glaring at each other, asked sorry to each other and returned the pen and class work.

After returning the things, they angrily left towards their rooms making their mothers tensed on how to convince them. All the four ( ram, sujata, sharmishta and shekhar) also came inside the house. All four of them made a plan for convincing their children who were upset because of them. Sujata went to convince swara and sharmishta went to convince sanskar. Downstairs, shekhar was preparing some drinks and pop corn while ram was searching for some movies on his pen drive. Finally he found one, and connected the pen drive to the T.V.

Sujata knocking the door, softly said, " cutie". Swara, hearing sujata's voice, opened the door. Sujata entered her room and made swara sit on the bed. She sat beside her. " cutie maa humesha sanskar ko hi support karti hain. Mujhe kyun kabhi nahi karti" complained swara like a small child. Sujata chuckled seeing the pout on swara's face. She took swara's palms in her and replied, " kyunki main humesha tumhe support karti hoon naa. Is liye wo dono humari bonding dekhke jalte hain". " sach" asked swara innocently. " much" replied sujata. She continued, " agar ye gussa kam ho gaya hai to neeche chalo. Tumhare dad kuch movie laga rahe hain". Swara asked excitedly forgetting her anger, " kaun saa movie". Sujata told that she didn't know and asked swara to come down to know which movie was he playing. Swara went to the washroom to wash her face and came back saying she was ready. Sharmishta did the same thing with sanskar and made him come downstairs. While coming downstairs, both of them stared at each other angrily.

Shekhar came from the kitchen with bowls of popcorns and glasses filled with juices. He placed them on the glass table near the sofa. All the six of them sat on the sofa. Swara and sanskar sat beside each other having no other go as the rest of the seats were occupied by their parents. They were watching the movie ' Peter Pan'. From the time they watched this movie in theatre, it became their favourite movie. And they didn't mind watching the same movie number of times.

Swara and sanskar were so lost in the movie that they didn't even realize that both of them were holding each other's hand until shekhar paused the movie for a drink break. After the break, they sat again for watching the movie. This time swara willingly put her head on sanskar's shoulders while sanskar held her. The parents admired this bonding of their children. Finally, they thought in their minds, swara and sanskar patched up once again. When the came to an end, everyone went to their rooms to take some rest.

Sanskar was sitting on his study table completing his holiday homework when there was a knock on his room's door. Guessing who it must be, he said, " darwaza open hai swara. Aao". Swara opened the door and entered his room. She sat on the bed and waited for him to complete his work. After a few minutes, sanskar closed his book and sat beside swara. Swara softly said, " I'm sorry". Sanskar asked her, " why are you sorry. I should be at the first place. If I had not taken your pen you also would have not taken my class work". Swara protested saying, " phir bhi sunny, I shouldn't have done that. It was wrong on my part". Sanskar didn't say anything but took swara in his embrace. " sunny please never stay away from me. You're my one and only best friend. If you are angry on me then scold me but please never keep yourself away from me. I can't bear that" swara said as she started crying. Sanskar said, never will I leave you swara. You are very important for me".

Both of them stayed in the same position until swara remembered that she had to complete her homeworks. Swara said in a hurry, " sanskar now I have to go. Homeworks maine ek bhi complete nahi kiye. Chalo tum bhi karo. Maine chalti hoon". Swara proceeded to leave when sanskar held her hand. Sanskar said to her cheerfully, " sath mein karte hain. Kam jaldi ho jayega". Swara thought for a while and nodded her head. She went to her room and brought her assignments to sanskar's room. Both of them started doing their homeworks not realizing what time it was.

It was almost close to 7'O clock when they completed their homeworks and kept them on sanskar's desk. Both of them went down only find none in the house. They went towards the lawn from where they could hear some noises. Swara, being scared, held sanskar's hand as the duo walked together near the place from where the noise was coming. They found their parents, laughing at some joke, cooking something.

Coming towards them, sanskar asked," mom kya kar rahe ho aap log". Sujata turns towards them and says, " kuch nahi. Bas we were making some kebabs. Wait it's getting ready". Swara and sanskar made their way to the swing laid in the lawn. Soon after the kebabs were ready, both of them went there and all of them were enjoying the taste of kebabs.

They returned into their house after having a small kebab party. Shekhar asked swara and sanskar," tum logon ka homework ho gaya na" to which they nodded positively. The elders exchanged familiar glances while swara and sanskar stood confused. Swara, breaking the silence, asked," kya ho raha hai. Koi bata sakta hai". Sujata replied, " surprise hai. Agar bata denge to surprise surprise kaisa rahega". Swara and sanskar kept a pout and left to their rooms.

The whole world was awake in the excitement of the arrival of the new year. It was almost 12 when crackers were being busted in the sky making the sky shine. The clock was ticking 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1 and HAPPY NEW YEAR. Swara and sanskar ran to their lawn to witness the crackers in the sky spelling happy new year. The sky was brightly lit with these crackers. Their parents also came outside to witness their children squeal in delight watching the sky. They moved towards swara and sanskar, patting their heads affectionately while duo hugged them making it as a complete family hug.

They stayed like that for sometime until the mothers realized that it was time for swara and sanskar to sleep, after all they had to wake up tomorrow morning for their surprise. So they told swara and sanskar to go and sleep in their rooms. Swasan, who were already feeling sleepy, followed their mothers' instructions and immediately went to sleep.

Thursday

New year

Sunday wasn't any usual day, as it was the new year day. Swara and sanskar woke up considerably early owing to the surprise which their parents have planned for them. Both of them were thinking harder as to what their parents planned for them. Swara asked," sanskar tumhe kuch pata chala ki papa aur mom hume kaha leke jaa rahe hain". Sanskar replied," nahi yaar. Mujhe nahi pata. Let's see. Wo hume kahe leke jayenge".

The parents came down only to find swara and sanskar discussing something. They knew what would be the topic and hence decided not to make them wait anymore. They came near swasan and ram said, " chalo get ready. Don't want to see your surprise". Swara and sanskar ran to their room to get ready. They both came out after sometime. Swara was clad in jeans and a sleeveless black top with a pink overcoat while sanskar wore his usual jeans and T-shirt.

The whole family started their journey towards the surprise. Swara and sanskar were very excited for this trip. Both of them were looking out of the window all throughout the way. After a good drive of 30 minutes, they stopped for the surprise.

Swara and sanskar stood shocked seeing the place. It was The Indian Museum. Their parents chuckled seeing their open mouths. Ram came to then and asked, " you both wanted to come here for your excursion, right. But we didn't allow you". Shekhar said, " so we thought why don't we bring you both here". Swara and sanskar hugged their parents thanking them.

Ram decided to go to buy the tickets. He bought them and all of them went inside. Swara and sanskar, being too excited, were observing all the things carefully. Both of them fell in love with the place.

After 5 hours or so, they completed watching all the artifacts. Swara and sanskar thought that they were going to head back to their house, but it seemed like the parents had some other plans for them. They asked swasan to get inside the car quickly.

In between they stopped for the lunch in a hotel. After completing their lunch, again they started

Sanskar asked, " dad hum kaha jaa rahe hain". Swara too nodded her head not able to control her excitement. " if we say everything right now then how will you be able to enjoy it. Just sit back and enjoy" said shekhar.

Swara and sanskar thought it was waste of time to ask their parents, so they thought to follow what shekhar said. Swara thought to take a short nap and leaned on the window glass.

After sometime, they reached the place. But swara was still asleep. Sharmishta and sujata tried their best to wake her up but it seemed like she was too exhausted. Sanskar said, " maa aap tickets khareedne jayiye. Main tab tak swara ko uthane ki koshish karta hoon". The mothers nodded and left towards the counter.

" swara utho. See we came" said sanskar patting swara's cheek. Swara stirred from her sleep. " swara get up" said sanskar once again seeing swara getting up. " we reached" asked swara yawning. " yup" replied sanskar. Swara lazily came down from the car with sanskar while ram locked the door and came behind them.

" where are we" asked swara unable to find the name board of the place. " it's a book fair swara" replied sanskar. Sharmishta and sujata bought the tickets and all of them went inside. Since all of them were ardent book lovers, they decided to go in a pairs and buy whatever books they want. Both the mothers left with their husbands, leaving swara and sanskar to move around the book fair.

They went inside many shops in search of some good books. After searching for an hour, swara and sanskar bought a lot of books. Those were mostly related to science. Rest of them were some story books which both of them found interesting. After paying for those books, both of them left in search of their parents.

After taking a full round of the whole book fair, they found their parents. Sanskar asked, " papa chale". Ram replied, " haan. Agar tum logon ka shopping ho gaya hai to chalte hain". They proceeded towards their car and left for their house.

Swara and sanskar were sitting idly when they thought to read the story books bought by them. So they went to their rooms upstairs and started reading until they were called down after half an hour for having their dinner. Everyone had their dinner quietly and left to their rooms.

Morning was a usual irritating time for the children to wake up and go to school and swasan were no exception. Their alarms were ringing in their respective rooms but both of them turned deaf ear towards it. Seeing it was almost 6:30, both their mothers went to their rooms to wake their children. After so much of tantrums, swara and sanskar woke up and got ready for their school.

Both of them came down for breakfast when they found their fathers already seated for breakfast. Wishing them a good morning, they too sat while their mothers served them their breakfast and also handed their lunch. After completing their breakfast, swasan went along with their fathers to their school.

Years passed and seasons changed but swasan's friendship was the same in fact grew deeper each day. Sanskar's couldn't think of his life without swara and it was the same for swara. It was as if without either there is neither. Both of them completed their 12th.

Sanskar wanted to pursue his BBA in abroad while swara did not want to stay away from her family so she didn't go to abroad. She joined B.Sc in interior designing in the Exterior-Interior P Ltd. Even though they got busy in their respective studies, they never failed to at least call up each other two times a day. While swara completed her course in 3 years, sanskar stayed in the abroad for 5 years as he had to complete his MBA too.

After swara finished her course, she joined as an intern in the Genius Consultants Ltd. And of course, helping her mothers during her free time. It was during those five years of separation, that swara realized that she has fallen irrevocably in love with her partner in crime cum best friend, sanskar and planned to tell him the same on his return.

Sanskar's condition was no less than swara's as he too realized that he had fallen deeply, madly and irrevocably in love with his best friend. Every second felt like an year for him after his realization of love. He couldn't wait when he would return back to her and confess his love for her. He hoped that swara would reciprocate his love with hers.

Friends I really thought of keeping this as one shot. But, my imaginations were getting flooded and I ended up for a two shot. Will post the other shot by Monday. Hope you like this story of mine. As usual, I would love to hear any type of feedback from you people.
