Plotting against your family will not get one to jail. However, Ragini was also with Sanskaar in this. In fact, Ragini did not STOP even when Sanskaar asked her to stop and step back. She went ahead with her nefarious plans even after Sanskaar repeatedly asked her not to ruin Swara's life.

For Sanskaar, Swara was a stranger. However, for Ragini, Swara was her own sister. And the best part is she never once spared a thought for her sister, her mother, her father, her Dada and her Dadi before drugging and defaming Swara, pushing her off to her death from the bridge, causing SheSho Divorce, kidnapping an ill Shomi and holding her hostage in pathetic conditions with no regard for her illness, stabbing Swara again, faking her ML, instigating Lakshya's obsessive love Swara and defaming Swara of double crossing both brothers. She also alleged fake rape and molestation charges on Sanskaar, sent goons to harm him, hit him on the head herself. She treated the whole of MM family members like dogs while they have always been good to her. Even after her real face was unveiled, they treated her with dignity and when she faked her ML, they worried and cared for her. What Ragini did to MM ppl amounts to Domestic Violence and wrongful confinement and cruelty against parents. Then comes Chotu's kidnapping and her commendable attempts to save Pari, after she accidentally pushed Pari from the SR river. She kept mum on Pari's disappearance and also removed evidence from the crime site, all of which are punishable under the Indian Statute. So, she should also go to jail. Not just Sanskaar alone. In fact agar woh jail gayi, toh life imprisonment hoga for all that she did and for which she was always forgiven in the blink of a eye, without ever having apologized and always justifying her all criminal activities.
