Swaragni fans are in for some disappointing news. For, if sources are to be believed, then Colors is contemplating to take off this popular show based on sweet and bitter relationship between two half-sisters, around the time ofBigg Boss. This big ticket show which should come on air in October / November always needs 2 slots as it runs daily for one hour. Besides Colors is launching 2 new fresh shows as well, so wholesale changes can be expected on the Colors FPC(programming schedule).

Already there is more or less confirmed news, that the long running Sasural Simar Ka, which started off the supernatural phenomena will go off air. There is similar chatter regarding Swaragini as well but sources say no final decision has been taken regarding it. Interestingly, both shows are produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited.

When we spoke to Swaragini lead actor Varun Kapoor,he said, " We too have heard a lot of off air talk, but we have not heard anything from the channel or production house." He also accepts that ratings off late have dipped," But these things do happen."

Female lead Tejaswani Prakash also confirmed to have heard the rumours, " But honestly speaking I don't see any such move on the contrary, we seem to be working hard to lift the ratings."
