WILL NEVER LET YOU GO
|- PART ONE - |
"Don't...don't you dare to touch me with your disgusting hands...stay the hell away from me" Swara screamed, backing off from Sanskar. She was extremely infuriated. Her eyes were burning in rage, anger and fury, setting the entire atmosphere around, on fire of her burning gaze.
"Swara listen..." Sanskar tried calming her down stepping closer to her. But she was too antagonistic to listen to his anything at that point of time. She looked more broken than angry. Swara was a very calm and composed woman. She hardly talks in loud voice with anyone. But he had embittered her to the extent that she was burning in pain and disgust.
"Swara please listen sweetheart...I can explain" Sanskar pleaded her to give him one chance to explain. It was breaking him seeing her in extremely painful state.
Turning around, her voice echoed in the hall, "There is nothing left to listen Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari...you did what you wanted to...now I will do what I want to." Her tone reflected the pain of betrayal.
Sanskar was staring at her back. "What do you mean?" he asked hoping that she would not say, what he was afraid of.
"I want divorce" she made a statement without any emotions in her tone. The pain she was feeling wasn't letting her to breathe.
His legs trembled as he heard her demanding a divorce from him. His wife...his Swara...who used to say that she could not bear even a minute away from him...who used to say she loved him more than anything else...who was ready to fight the whole world to stay with him...was now asking a divorce from him? No longer wished to stay with him? It just broke everything within him.
She wiped the constant falling tears from her eyes. She could not afford to present herself weak in front of him. She turned back to him and gazed at him. His face had turned pale. He indeed looked terribly hurt and broken.
For a moment, she hated herself for his condition but she was brought back to reality soon as her mind played the flashes of what he had done with her. No...she could never forgive him...for hurting her...for breaking her...for breaking her trust...for betraying her...for disgusting their relation...for disrespecting her love.
"I am going Sanskar" she said before making her way towards their bedroom to collect her clothes and other things.
She couldn't move further being stopped by his hold on her wrist.
"Wait" he said calmly.
Swara started struggling to get free from his grip. He tightened it more saying, "I said wait" His eyes met her. If she would have been his previous Swara, she could have hugged him right that moment burying her face into him and embracing his worries within her.
"You will not go anywhere" he said firmly still holding her in his grip.
"I can't stay with you" she said emotionlessly without looking at him.
He laughed bitterly. "Says the one who can't bear even a moment of separation from me...Anyways, you will not go anywhere...if you want I will shift to guest room but you will stay here...in this house only"
"You are no one to force me"
"I am your husband...we are yet to be get divorced" he reminded her that they were still married and rightfully and lawfully he was still her husband.
"We will soon get" she uttered avoiding his gaze, while trying to free her hand.
"I will not let you go away from me" he told her with a confident smile on his face kissing back of her palm.
"You will forcefully keep me here?" she jerked his hand before asking.
"I can never force anything on you sweetheart...you yourself will come back running into my arms" he was way much confident that he would never let her to walk away from his life. He had faith in their love that no matter what but the vows they had taken together around fire, they would never break them. They cannot...neither he can nor she.
"In your dreams" she said walking away from him.
"Time to convert dreams into reality sweetheart" he said making her to turn back at him. She stared at him for a moment feeling his words.
Soon coming back to reality, she ran upstairs in her room. Closing the door, she walked near the bed. She took their photo frame caressing their photo with her fingers making it faint due to tears drops falling over it.
"Why did you do this? Why? Did I fail to love you? Did I fail to fulfil my duties as a wife? Whyyy?" she screamed in agony falling down on her knees. Today she had lost her everything. He was her life. He was her entire universe. It was he she was living for and today she had lost her reason to live.
Walking towards the wall, Sanskar roamed his fingers over their portrait in the hall. "I am sorry Swara...I know you are hurt a lot because of me...but trust your Sanskar, sweetheart...Your Sanskar only and only loves you, Swara...I can never and will never betray you...I know what I did, had broken you but trust me I had no other options...I had to do it."
FLASHBACK:
Swara entered pushing the door of hotel room and her heart broke into millions of pieces by the sight she witnessed. Her eyes caught her husband there, lying on the hotel bed on top of Kavita.
Sanskar instantly got up seeing Swara there. Kavita gave an annoyed look to Swara saying, "What is she doing here baby? Didn't you tell her that, tonight is our night? Ask her to leave right now...I dont want any disturbances"
Sanskar looked helplessly at Swara. "Swara leave" he said keeping hard stone on his heart.
Swara stood there staring in disbelief at her husband who was lying there in some other's woman's arms and now was asking her...his wife, to leave from there to let them alone to spend their time together. He cursed himself for saying that to her but he had to do that.
Swara ran from there holding tears in her eyes leaving behind a helpless Sanskar.
After an hour, when he came back home, he saw Swara standing there...lost into their photos hanging all over the wall.
FLASHBACK ENDS:
"I know Swara what have I done, is not forgivable in your eyes and you are absolutely right in your place. But you have to trust your Sanskar, Swara...you have to trust your Sanskar...I will gain your trust back Swara...I will gain you back and that's your husband's promise to you wifey" A very determined Sanskar made a promise to himself.
