This is neither a retaliatory post. Nor one looking for slug fests. and not trying to be instigating.
This is simply my thoughts as a Sanskaar'ian who has seen his journey since the day he stepped on my screen.
Feel free to ignore this post if you are looking forward for another thread to make war.
It sucks to make a disclaimer every time you have a make a post.

Sanskaar Maheshwari:
Did he try to hurt his family in his revenge quest? - Yes.
He defamed Swara? - Yes.
He drugged her? - Yes.
He tried to break her marriage with Laksh? - Yes.
His acts were criminal? - Yes.
He is the one who introduced another girl into the world of darkness? - Yes.
His acts were illegal, immoral and unethical? - Yes.
Then why would I still call him a imperfectly perfect man.
A loving son.
A beautiful big brother.
A wonderful friend.
and a True Soulmate.
He tried to ruin Swara's life... And he is one who risked his own and saved her from the attack of a witch.. this at the risk of blowing his cover and ruination of his quest.
He offered her NO excuses, justifications, threats or demands.. a simple straight forward truth.
& the beautiful soul that Swara is forgave him.
He tried to bring his friend back from the dark lanes.. Repeatedly. even offered to take the entire blame upon himself. and the friend threw him under the bus to save herself.
He confessed his crimes, apologized to his family, tried to stop his brother from breaking off the marriage with Swara.. everything that he could at that moment.
He got abused, insulted and thrown out.
He was the one who carried Swara in his own arms and despite being injured tried everything in his power to bring her back to the mandap.
He despite his misgivings became her partner in her fake marriage plan to correct his wrongs and to help her every way possible.
He never forgave himself for wronging her despite her repeated assurances that he is forgiven.
He stood by her through every trail. Every tribulations. Every path that she walked upon.
Protected her against defamation, insults, injuries.. even when she broke her friendship with him.
Set her free to choose the life she wants with whomsoever she pleases despite his own broken heart.
Stood by his younger brother.
His Bade Papa; when the elderly man wrote away his hard earned money to save the family reputation.
Loved his Badi ma and the family ignoring their biases.
and above all.. LOVED his Swara with all his heart and soul throughout his journey.
He made mistakes and faltered in between?.. Yes he did.
But his journey was Perfect. And to say that he deserves to be forgiven or loved or respected.. I don't have to tear down any other character. It is when you need to drag in other characters through mud to justify your own that's when the debate is lost.. because the character can't stand tall on its own merit.
But Sanskaar shall stand TALL.
and Proud!
Because perfect are not the ones who never faltered.
Perfect are the ones.. who gets up every time they falter and vow to never falter again.
And then they walk the whole journey.. with head held high.
Sanskaar Maheshwari may not be the perfect man.. but his journey has been ... Perfect!
