I am just reposting my comment from another thread since it's relative to this thread. I will be in the minority here.

Unlike most people, I was excited for the addition of Sahil. I did not mind him at all just because I knew it would mean that the highly intelligent, cunning, overly protective Sanskar would come to the forefront. Which is exactly what we saw in Monday's episode. I would have loved to see both men playing games and trying to one up each other. It would make for an exciting TV viewing experience. Obsessive Sahil against equally (and more) possessive Sanskar Maheshwari is better than kitchen politics any day. I honestly prefer Sahil over Kavita, and Mausi because he doesn't annoy me as such. I saw a lot of potential with Sahil because I would have gotten to see the original action oriented Sanskar Maheshwari especially when he would have kicked Sahil like a rag doll *swoon.*

Actually you are not in the minority here. When the track was announced everyone was pretty excited because we all had assumed that we would get our old Sanskaar back & even if not the old fake marrriage track one...at least we will get an intelligent & possessive Sanskaar! But we all saw how that shaped up🤢

Also, my main issue with Sahil is Anuj. I dont like Anuj as an actor & I have laughing at all his scenes. The intensity needed, the sort to strike terror in the audience, is totally lacking in Anuj IMO. I am either yawning or laughing when he is onscreen. Hence I would prefer the track to be done & over with because I have given up all hopes of getting that old Sanskaar back EVER

Ah alright, I knew that everyone (including myself) was excited for the ML track. I didn't realize that Sahil and the obsessive lover track was also something people were looking forward to. I kept thinking that people were upset that someone else like Kavita was going to come between Swasan.

I think the cvs only just woke up considering that we finally got to see the true Sanskar in the last two episodes. I mean sure we saw glimpses of him since he did don the Kissan garb which reminded me of vengeful Sanskar in all his disguises from back then. However, Monday and Tuesday were truly Sanskar Maheshwari in his element. It's unfortunate though that the cvs only bucked up and pulled their socks up at the end of the track or rather they decided to end the track when it had potential, when it was finally shaping up.

I myself am not a fan of Anuj but I did see improvements in him with (once again) Monday and Tuesday being his best performances. So here I am giving him the benefit of the doubt in that I think there is some potential there and if the script truly allowed him to go all out with the obsessed lover and stalker character he could have done a much better job. I just don't think the script was that great to truly allow him that because so far his psychosis was just simmering under the surface ready to be unleashed. We just never got to that point (the cvs weren't capable enough to handle such a track it seems).
