Well dear...eating papaya in pregnancy should be avoided because it leads to muscle contractions which can induce labour...now if it can be eaten in the intial stage of pregnancy or no that I don't know but in final stages it should be avoided.
Only ripe papaya can be eaten...unripe papaya can surely lead to miscarriage.

Hi kamila happy to see your post, and you know what cvs lost their mind in so many things they are making us fool by showing so many craps so don't take it so seriously actually in the television and cine industry it became a routine to show papaya as a threat to pregnancy but in real only the unripe papaya is a threat but not the ripe one may be if the person is so weak it may be a threat for that particular person.

I'm not sure as to which extent it's dangerous but even my mom used to say it is so, when my sis was expecting. So I guess it might be a common belief CVs had used here :)
BTW nice to see you Kamila :)

My doctor has advised me to not have it in initial days of pregnancy, I didn't have it during mine. Please ask some expert, maybe a popular belief 😊

Yes, it is safe to eat papaya during pregnancy, as long as it is ripe.

A well ripened papaya is rich in vitamins C and E. It is also a good source of fibre and folic acid.

Papaya helps to prevent and control constipation and heartburn.

For these reasons, many experts recommend that pregnant women eat moderate amounts of ripe papaya.

Some women make a tonic by blending portions of ripe papaya with milk and honey. This mixture is considered a rich source of nutrients for pregnant and nursing mums.

However if the papaya is unripe, then no, it isn't safe. An unripe or semi-ripe papaya is rich in a substance called latex. Research shows that this concentrated form of latex may trigger uterine contractions. Also, papaya skin and seeds shouldn't be eaten.

As a safety measure, many pregnant mums exclude papaya from their diets altogether. Despite the research, it is a traditional belief that eating papaya can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.

If you're still unsure about whether to eat papaya, talk to your doctor.

It is also... according to mother health... if she is weak...

Better to avoid it.
Not sure, but I guess if your womb is strong enough, there is no issue. There are many cases of miscarriages whose wombs are not strong enough, those ladies should avoid papaya, cheese, mayonnaise.

Specially during first pregnancy elders ask not to eat to avoid further complications. Pari cannot conceive, they don't know when swara will conceive, with Ragini's pregnancy there was a ray of hope for them.

But they are acting quite immature. They are taking care of Ragini like she's seriously ill, not pregnant. If she eats one or two piece of papaya, nothing will happen. Sujata reacted like Ragini was taking abortion pill.

Divya.. 🤗 .. after a long time Haan. Hope you're rocking.. seriously... tv cinema are they stuck with the silly illogical logics. That's why I hate serials... especially Tamil... 🤢 ...

Fully riped papaya won't harm the baby or mother... it's essentially for baby... miscarriage is occur for different reasons... mostly hormones imbalance... is the main reason.. papaya.. no..

With love..
