It is always easy to choose between a role which is completely white or black. It is the grey character that is the most challenging. When I chose the role of Sahil Sengupta in Swaragini I was skeptical of what the audience response would be. A few weeks into the show am thrilled by the positive reviews that have come my way. I am happy to know that you all love to hate my character and that for me is the greatest victory. It is your support and encouragement that keeps me going and makes me want to work harder. I wish to impress you all more and more with each of my scenes. Keep watching and keep giving me feedback. It is always much appreciated. #Swaragini #sahil #swara #sanskar #grateful #ThankYou#negativerole #villain #greyshades #television #challenge #accepted#goodtimes #shootlife

P.S. - No Bashing please..I know all hate Sahil but this is Anuj..remember that..and if you still want to bash him then go elsewhere..sorry for being rude but m not sorry for what I said.

I don't know why to show yourself great or intelligent ppl have to look down upon others choices...
what is the connection between choosing black nd white nd choosing grey easy tough nd what?
itni diplomacy isn't good...
M not bashing but I genuinely feel there is no need to educate ppl which role to choose is tough which not

@debo thanx 4 the update.i m liking anuj's acting.its not OTT .its subtle . yes i"ll say hes not fab but hes also not bad like nikita .i can put him 2 the level of roop till now.
@akankasha i think hes not educating abt anything. i find it v.down 2 earth statement.its general statement & i think ppl must b praising him thatswhy hes syaing this .
and atleast he knows that hes not fab or TRP puller like sum1else thot even tho she was bashed & not praised even a bit 4 anything in the show 4 her -ve role.

Anuj said exactly what I say Everytime on this very forum. Negative /Grey characters are meant to be hated and if u hate them that's the biggest achievement for an actor, I used say the same thing when ragini was negative that if people are hating ragini then teju is doing justice to her role.
If u are finding a negative character cool, cute, adorable, romantic, etc then the actor is definitely the worst actor in this whole world and is not doing justice to his character.
I used hate sanskar initially and I am sure if I will re-watch those episode I would hate him, I started getting mellow with sanskar's character after the first sanlak argument after fake marriage in front of the car where he simply did not justified his crimes accepted them and asked lucky for a chance to redeem. He got angry with lucky only after he said something against swara. After that since sanskar's character was so beautifully redeemed I started loving him.

Where is he educating anyone? He is just sharing his thoughts which people generally do on FB. And he remains connected with his fans on FB twitter so he must have got some hate response for sahil. And if a negative /Grey character is hated the actor who is playing it will definitely be satisfied.

I do think it's unnecessary to say "it's easy to choose white or black but not grey" talk about yourself naa...

He is actually talking about himself, that for him it's not easy. It's his view point. When u make a fb post it's written their "what's on ur mind". I really don't want to change ur opinion I respect it but I was just correcting a fact. Because he has not generalized the statement saying for an actor it's not easy, and after those lines he has used "I" to specify his POV.
