You've said it !!
Monologues can save the series and characters from so many situations ! It also makes sure they have some consistency and not have them appear as a schizophrenic nut who is on their own trip !

I think they have a quota for monologues and if any one character even on the next shooting set has a monologue the opportunity is exhausted !

How lovely would it be to see what goes on in Swara's mind apart from internalising the Khooni Khooni message. Explore girl...where do those feelings of concern stem from, think why does the entire family sway in his favour ..chew on it...stew on it...do anything that will remotely give you a hint into yourself !!

Personally I feel Sahil is feeding her a tape with subliminal messaging ...*tum usse khooni bulaoogiii*
I think the only time Swara has had a monologue was during Kavita and the whole soulmate realisation (where you rightly pointed out that Sanskar's mind was not even peeked into. Quota system is the only theory that makes sense :P)

But we get monologues from Sahil and his ultra creepy self, honestly who'd really have a dialogue with him. Monologues hi kaafi hai...
Even the dadi and Pari get monologues!! Our leads will forever have to wait for that train

P.S. : I don't think Ragini will ever introspect...she's been on that amnesia train for a long long time...it's like her personal Neverland !

Great Post !

Nimmi, most of us talk to ourselves:

Though as Shruti (Lannister) said, the CVs are under the impression that only villains need monologues, even Sanskaar had monologues only when he was in the revenge mode😆

nice post ⭐️
really cvs sometime forget the value of monologue in a serial they help audience understand the character better and their situation and reason of doing something

worst case was like u said sanskar in kavita track and swara in this track though i consider the kavita track much bigger blunder than this one becoz atleast swara have a excuse of going through trauma so some audience will understand her situation and will sympathies like me but but in kavita track though i know swara told sanskar to marry kavita so he was doing so but some monologue of sankar in kavita sankar scene would have high lighten his uneasiness abt the situation and make those scenes ittle bit more tolerable for me .

but this always has be pronlem of cvs they showed more monlogue of negative then positive characters like first ragini ,then kavita ,then urvashi masi and now sahil

Nimmi dear🤗
Bang on. And you scored again. Monologues are much needed to understand a character. We can't see their prespective and judge them as wrong.
Rather than showing same flashback if they show monologue to spread some light on
their inner feeling may be we can see a logic.
Better RS give them a high pay so that they can improve.
