Ragya to adopt shomi's child, how idiotic can this show get?

I thought ragya would fake pregnancy and then Ragini would put fwd a condition that she would give birth to her child only if shomi gives birth to her's. This would have been so interesting where dadi would have to agree for her lado. But nooo trust the cvs to spoil the track and here they are.

This would be so regressive, and why is shomi even bothered about society, she wasn't bothered about society when she had sex before marriage, she divorced, gave birth to a najayaz (acc to the society) girl and got married late
