I loved it but I thought that there was no need to bring her memory back or bring her memory after confession . I just love it . Could u give an epilogue . Just a thought . Sanskar is perfect and u r a awesome writer ur mere ajnabee is so good I am loving it too. Plz give updates .

Hello everyone, as promised here is the Epilogue of this story.. I hope you like it.. Please share your views (good, bad or anything) and please ignore mistakes..

Epilogue:


One Month Later


"Say Nana ji..." her grandfather requests to her while holding her in his lap. Ananya gives her grandfather a blank look, unable to understand the word he is teaching her. She begins in trying to pronounce it, only getting "Uh-uh jeh..." Her grandfather shakes his head. "No beta, Na..." "Uh..." "Na" "Uh" "Na" "Uh" He lets out a deep sigh and looks over to his daughter and son-in-law, who are watching this with clear amusement and trying their best not to laugh.

Shekar: Yes, yes, go ahead and laugh. Laugh at how my own granddaughter cannot even call her own grandfather properly...

Sanskaar: Papa, give her a break... She is just one... She will learn with time... For now, I think "Uh-uh" is just fine.

Swara giggles at her husband's poking, but stops once her father shoots her a glare. She and her husband share a discreet smile.

Shekar: (haughtily) Swara began speaking sentences before she even turned one... She loved to talk... I bet Ananya gets this from you...

Sanskaar: Believe me, your daughter hasn't stopped talking since then...

Swara gives him a punch on his arm while he simply laughs and pulls her close. He gives Uttara a high-five.

Shekar's glare grows. He decides to stop speaking with his son-in-law as he only finds pleasure in poking fun at his plight and return his attention back onto his granddaughter staring up at him with big eyes.

Ananya: Uh-uh...

Shekar: Nana...

Ananya: Uh-uh...

Shekar: Accha, what about Nanu?

Ananya: Uhnu...

Sanskaar, Swara, Shomi and Uttara erupt into giggles while Shekar continues to frown. He gives an exasperated sigh.

Shekar: I give up. You may call me whatever you wish, my dear.

Ananya gives a smile as if she is aware she has won. Swara giggles at her daughter's smartness and takes her back into her arms.

Swara: You are Mama's good girl, aren't you?

Sanskaar: Nah, she's a papa's girl, right Anu?

Swara: No Papa...

Sanskaar: What do you mean No papa'? Swara, do not brainwash my child...

Swara: Oh, your child?!

Sanskaar: Yes, my child.

Swara: Anu, I think your Papa needs a little reminder. Wasn't it I who had to carry you for nine months straight and give birth to you? Your Papa did nothing...

Sanskaar: What do you mean I did nothing? You have to give credit to me for at least something? Darling, it takes two to tango, you know...

Swara: Whatever. I am just saying that Anu is her mother's girl... Haina.., Ananya?

Sanskaar takes Ananya out from his wife's arms and gathers her close.

Sanskaar: You are papa's little girl and will always be papa's girl... Right..? Come on baby, tell us who you love more?

Swara: Mama or Papa?

Ananya looks back and forth from her parents' faces who look back at her with anticipation. She then catches her grandfather standing directly behind them and gives a big, goofy smile.

Ananya: Uh-uh!!

Her parents looked baffled by her answer and turn around to see the victory smile on her grandfather's face while her grandmother and maasi roar from laughter.

Shekar takes Ananya in his arms and gives her a sound kiss.

Shekar: That's my girl...
