And I completely agree with what you were saying about the uncomfortable aspect...my dad walked in abhi when the RagLak scene was on and they were holding each other and crying...I really had the urge to change the channel. Indian values and ethos are still quite conservative. And at prime-time, when the whole family sits down to eat together in front of the TV, ppl don't want to see too much mush.
