I haven't been watching this show for some time, but finally caught up with this week's episodes on YT.
I gotta say, Lakshya clearly has a preference for Malkins, 'cause he moved from one Malkin to the other- Ragini to Kavya. I guess he loves 'modern' women, as the show likes to term them. 😆🤢
Honestly speaking, all his dialogues to the Maheshwaris and Swaragini resonated with me. Who would like to be married against their will? In that sense, I sympathised with him. All his dialogues made sense to me, but his approach was clearly wrong, 'cause he did nothing but replace one Ragini with another.
After all that high dudgeon about how Ragini treated his parents, he is very happy to stand by while Kavya mistreats his family.
Ragini is one messed up girl and she messed up Lakshya as well. Their story is a dark one, indeed. I wanna watch more.
One thing I don't wanna see is how his family makes him realise Ragini is right for him, 'cause that would again be a 'family is always right' jaap. I'm sick of Indian elders being made out to be almost holy and elevated to demigod status. 😡 All these shows are about the same thing- "Bade hamesha sahi hote hai", "Duty/Family over individual happiness" blah blah blah. It just helps some TRP aunties gloat over their own selves and feel good about their lives.
