wow...!yaar it was really fantastic update...i was shocked whe i read that manju was eloped...hey...!without any struggle swasan prblm has been sloved...smoothly...wow...!

but iam feeling that something big prblm is coming...any how i knw they will slove that...😉

I know I am really late..So I want to apologize first, sorry friends..😳 But I really had been busy..with lot of work to do..

Thank you every one, who have liked and commented on my previous update, Love you all 🤗

Here comes the next chapter.

PART 9

Swara woke up in the early hours of morning which was not quite usual for her. She loved to sleep late in the mornings. Getting down from the bed, she walked into the corridor and headed towards the kitchen. Annapurna was busy making tea, and Sharmishta was also there with her. She was surprised to see Swara walking inside.

Sha: Chinnu..you woke up early..(smiles) Good morning my dear..
Sw: (hugs her) Good morning Amma.. (snuggles closer). . Good morning Annapurna Aunty.

An: Good morning Chinnu..What happened..Are you not feeling sleepy at all..?

Sw: I don't know Aunty.. But I am not feeling sleepy today..!

An: Even I didn't sleep at all yesterday. I just can't get over the fact that Manju loved someone else..Poor Sanskaar..I should have listened to him before when he had said that he wasn't ready for this marriage..

Sharmishta knew that bringing up this topic again will do no good. So she kept her hand on Annapurna's shoulder.

Sha: Annapurna.. It's ok.. Just forget it..!
An: Hmm.. I don't know what he must be going through.. My poor son..!! (eyes become teary again)

Sw: Aunty... Can I go and give this tea to him...? I will see whether he is ok or not... Don't worry...

Annapurna nodded and handed her one cup of tea. Swara was dying to meet Sanskaar again, after their secret meeting in the previous night, by the pond side. She just needed an excuse.

When Swara reached his bedroom with the tea cup, Sanskaar was sleeping like a baby on his bed. He was covered with a blanket till his half chest, and a pillow lay on his chest, which he was hugging tightly.

Swara noticed that he was mumbling something in his sleep. She carefully kept the tea cup on the side table and went closer to listen clearly.

Sa: Hmmm...Swaraaa...I love you... Mmmuaaahhh... (kisses the pillow)

Unable to control her urge, Swara giggled loudly. Sanskaar opened his eyes and when he saw her, he pulled her hand without warning. Before she landed on top of him, he was quick enough to pull her under the blanket and hugged her instead of the pillow, throwing it aside. Swara buried her face in his chest to and giggled soundlessly. He was feeling tickly and he too began to laugh aloud.

Feeling cautious, Swara covered his mouth with her palm, but he placed a lingering kiss inside her palm. She withdrew it quickly and raised her face to look at him with a mock glare. He extended his hand to caress her cheek softly, with love. Swara closed her eyes for a moment and opened them again to look at him passionately.

Sa: (huskily) I was just kissing you in my dreams and here you have come to wake me up. You need some punishment.

Without warning, he pulled the blanket over both of them. Before she could protest, he cupped her cheeks and pulled her face close to his lips. He then kissed her lips with lots of passion and she just melted down lying there on his chest. Closing her eyes, she too responded with so much passion. Both of them had missed each other like hell all the night.

He turned sideways and she too fell down on to his side. He was kissing her deeper and their tongues intertwined.

It was then that they heard it.

Ra: Ettaaa...

Both of them froze under the blanket. Since he was lying on his side, with his back towards Ragini, Sanskaar hoped against hope that Ragini might not have sensed Swara too lying with him under the blanket on the opposite side. He hugged her tightly so as Ragini could only see his body covered under the blanket. He acted as if he was still half asleep and was disturbed.

Sa: (tired voice)Hmmm...?

Ra: Err... Sorry, Ettaa.. I thought that you were not asleep... Just came to see if you are alright..

Sa: Hmmm...

Ragini turned around to leave as she spotted the steaming tea cup on the table.

Ragini thought, "Who brought tea for him... Oh...Might be Amma.. "
She left the room and closed the door cautiously without making noise. As soon as Sanskaar was sure that she has gone, he pulled off the blanket and both of them sat up with a deep sigh.

Sa: Phew...That was a narrow escape... !! (shuts his eyes tightly and shook his head in relief)

Sw:(with her hand on her forehead) Oh God.. !! What if she saw us...?! Thank god, the blanket was all over us...!!!

She pushed him aside and jumped out of the bed within seconds. She handed the tea cup to him.

Sw: You drink this, Sanskaar. I just came to give you the tea. Your Amma had sent me here. Now I am going before someone else comes looking for me.

Sanskaar watched her go and he chuckled sweetly. Then he sighed with a dreamy expression, ruffling his hair with his free hand.

Sa: Huhh.. !! Swaraaa... !!How much I love you..!!
Then he drank his tea.

Meanwhile Ragini had gone down and reached the kitchen. She joined in with Annapurna and Sharmishta who were having their tea.

Ra: Amma... Was it you who had kept the tea in Ettan's room.. ?
An: (smiles) No.. I had sent Swara there with the tea..
Ra: Ohh..

But then she thought, "So Swara kept it there. "
Just then Swara entered the kitchen and joined them..

Sw: (smiling) Aunty, I gave him the tea as you said..
Ra: (smiling wide) Good morning Swara...Join us na... You also have tea, now.

Sw: Ya..Sure.. (smiles widely)

Afterwards, Swara and Sharmishta left for their home. When they reached the front gates, they were surprised to see a man sitting on the chair in the verandah.

Sw: Papa...

Shekhar Menon looked up and saw his daughter and wife walking towards him. His eyes lit up at the sight of them. He stood up from the chair and gazed at them. Sharmishta was too shocked to speak. Her heartbeats began to race alarmingly. She thought "Why is he here now..? Oh God...!! To take my Chinnu back to Mumbai again with him... !! Oh no.. !!"

When they reached nearer, Swara frowned at him and spoke.

Sw: (seriously)Why are you here, Papa... ? If it is to take me back with you, I am not ready to come.. !

She: (emotionally)Chinnu..

Suddenly, he hugged his daughter with all his love. Swara didn't hug him back, but still she didn't try to break his hug. She was in deep thought. Too many questions were haunting her mind.

She: (sad and choking voice) I am sorry, Chinnu...I am really very sorry..

Swara could feel his body shaking feebly. She looked up and saw that he was sobbing. She had never seen him crying and was shocked. She hugged him comfortingly and pressed her cheek close to his chest. Sharmishta's eyes also moistened seeing her husband crying. After all these years of solitude which he gifted her, she still loved him.

She unlocked the main door and went inside the house. After a moment she was back with a glass of water. She held it out to him compassionately. He noticed it and took it from her hand, leaving Swara.

But, before he drank it, Swara made him sit back on to the chair. Sharmishta and Swara waited for him to speak after he composed himself.

Shekhar looked at Sharmishta with tired eyes.
She: (carefully) Sharmishta..

Sharmishta's lips were shaking and she blinked her tearful eyes. Unable to face her or look into her eyes, he took her hand in his hand and kept looking at it. Slowly he bent his head and touched his forehead on to her shivering hand. He too was shivering with guilt.

She: Forgive me if you can, Sharmishtaa.. I know that I don't deserve your forgiveness.. But still..

Sharmishta was standing still, unable to believe her ears. She didn't know what to say, she was looking at the bent head of her husband.

Swara was watching the scene with a heavy heart. Half of her wanted her Amma to say that she would never forgive him. But half of her heart was rejoicing seeing her arrogant father bending his head in front of her mother. As a woman she wanted to support her mother against her father. But as daughter, she wanted her mother and father to reconcile. So she kept quiet and waited for her mother to say something.

Sha: I had forgiven you years ago... (looks away) After all, you are the father of my daughter. How can I have any hard feelings against you. I have always loved you, even though you were never able to love me.

Shekhar was overwhelmed and he bit his lips. He stood up and hugged her, caressing her hair. Years of agony welled up inside Sharmishta's heart and she wept bitterly. He also began to weep and wiping his tears away didn't help him to stop crying.

Swara closed her mouth and wept silently, her body was shaking uncontrollably. She was happy beyond limits but she was wondering why she was crying.

But suddenly she thought about another person. His father's second wife and her step mother - Janki.

Sw: Papa...

Shekhar broke from the hug and he gazed at his daughter.

Sw: (uncertainly) Janki Aunty... !

Sharmishta was surprised to hear this name. She uncertainly looked at her husband and then back at her daughter, with anxious eyes.

She: Well... That was a compromise, Chinnu.. Our marriage was not real.. She was my best friend in the college.

########## FLASHBACK ##########
Shekhar Menon never loved his own motherland -- Kerala. He had always dreamed of living a luxurious life in a big city like Mumbai. The first chance he got to be outside Kerala was when he got his admission in a college in Bangalore.

He soon became engrossed in the busy city life. His best friends were Raghuveer Dixit and Janki Mehta. They were from Mumbai. Shekhar loved hanging out with them. Slowly Raghuveer and Janki fell in love.

After college, Raghuveer and Shekhar wanted to set up a business in Mumbai. But the plan was cancelled and Shekhar had to return to his native town in Kerala, because his father wished that his eldest son must run his family business.

After one year, Shekhar had to marry Sharmishta, who was a typical Keralite village girl according to his father's decision and Swara was born after one year. He always had a half mind to leave everything and pursue his Mumbai dreams. He inwardly blamed his father and Sharmishta for his inability to realize his dreams. He felt as a prisoner in his own motherland.

After four years, he finally handed over the business into the hands of his younger brother, Shivaram, and then left off to Mumbai with Sharmishta and Swara. He had lost his contacts with Janki and Raghuveer, so he started a new business and soon it prospered. However he could never love his own wife with all his heart. She was still a village girl and he hated that fact. But he tried his best to fulfill his duties as a husband. But Swara was the apple of his eyes. He showered her with all his love and Sharmishta was content with that fact.

After three years,(i.e. , in 1999) when Swara was eight years old, Sharmishta received a letter from her village in Kerala, stating that her mother was severely ill. Since she was her only daughter, there was no one to take care of her mother. She pleaded to Shekhar to take her to Kerala for some time and he reluctantly agreed to it. He hated that place.

It was then that Swara fell into the pond and was rescued by Sanskaar, who was 11 years old at that time. Shekhar put all the blame on Sharmishta that she was not even careful enough to look after Swara. He took her back to Mumbai, leaving Sharmishta all alone with her sick mother who had to be taken care of.

After coming back to Mumbai, one day he met Janki again. He was shocked to learn that Raghuveer was in jail.

Janki told him her story. Raghuveer and Janki had wished to get married. But her father Mr. Motilal Mehta was against their marriage. So both of them decided to opt for a secret court marriage. When they were about to sign the papers, some goons appointed by Janki's father tried to kill Raghuveer and he had to kill three of them after a deadly combat. Raghuveer was sentenced to life time imprisonment for fifteen years and was sent to Jail. Janki's father also died after a year and she was all alone. It was then that she met Shekhar.

After hearing everything, Shekhar decided to take care of her and invited her to live with him and his daughter, Swara. They decided to act as if they are married. They decided to stay with each other till Raghuveer got his release from the prison. They used to go and visit Raghuveer time and again. No one knew about this -- not even Swara.

Janki took good care of Swara, but she never saw a mother in her. She grew up missing her Amma and she looked forward to the day when she will grow up enough to set out in search of her mother.
Janki always used to tell Shekhar that little Swara needed her Amma. But Shekhar was so adamant that he believed he alone was enough for her. He never missed his wife and he loved to spend his free time with his friend, Janki and his daughter, Swara.

Two weeks before, he got the shock of his life when Swara left his home and set off alone to her mother's village in Kerala. He thought that if he wouldn't give Sharmishta's address to her, she would fail in her pursuit and come back to Mumbai. But he was wrong, she found her mother. The previous phone conversation between Swara made him realize the depth of a huge mistake he had committed by distancing a mother and daughter.

Sw: Hello Papa.. How come you remembered me.. ?
She: Chinnu.. Why didn't you come back. ? Do you know how much worried I have been.. ?
Sw: Don't worry Papa.. I am fine here at Amma's home..
She: (shocked) What... ?! How did you reach her home... ?
Sw: I told you na Papa, that I am not going to come back without meeting my Amma...God is with me.. I found her home easily..(smiles)
She: (helplessly) Come back Chinnuu... I am missing you terribly.
Sw: (scoffs)Papa... It has been only two days since you haven't seen me, and you are in this helpless condition..Just think about Amma, it has been years since she met me.
She: But she has learnt to live without you... But I haven't..
Sw: (laughs softly) Then, you also will learn to be without me soon... Bye Papa... take care...

For the first time in his life, Shekhar broke down completely. Janki approached him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

Ja: Shekhar, What did she say. ?
She: (tearful eyes) Janki, she refused. She told me to learn to live without her.

His voice cracked and he couldn't contain his grief any longer. He wept bitterly.

Ja: Shekhar, it still not late. You can go and bring her back.

She: She won't come. I know. She is just as adamant as me.

Ja: It is time for you to bring Sharmishta back into your life. All these years you have tortured that poor woman keeping her away from her daughter. You had left her there saying that she needed to take care of her mother. Even after her mother died, you never tried to bring her back. Don't be so mean Shekhar. See, even Chinnu left you alone, now.

She: I know. I have to rectify the mistakes I have committed in my life. I am going to bring back Sharmishta and Chinnu. I hope they forgive me.

Ja: I can't be sure of it. I will never forgive you if I were in Sharmishta's place.

####### FLASHBACK ENDS######
After explaining everything to them, Shekhar caught hold of Sharmishta's shoulders and looked at her intently.

She: Will you come back with me, Sharmishta.. ? I promise you that I will give you all the love and respect which you deserve. Let us start afresh..

Sharmishta's joy knew no bounds. She smiled widely at her husband and nodded happily. She turned towards Swara and hugged her.

Sha: All this happened because of you, Chinnu. Thank you for coming back to me.

Shekhar also came and hugged Swara.

She: Thank you for making me realize my mistake. I have booked the air tickets for the three of us. We are leaving to Mumbai today afternoon itself..

Swara was shocked. "Mumbai.. ! and that too, this afternoon...?!"..."Oh my god..!!what about me and Sanskaar... ??!"

And the morning scene was ☺️ swasan became so romantic na 😆 and oh god ragini almost caught them why am i feeling ragini knows about their relationship 😉

And then shekhar returns at first i thought he is return to humilate sharmishta again but that was totally opposite of my thoughts 😆 shekhar and his history was awesomely written 👏 and then he saying sorry to sharmishta and then finally a happy wala family scene 😳

Swara is going back poor swasan 😭 what will be the reaction of sanskar?

it is really very interesting to imagine swasan in kerala setting

Dear Naina,

Such a mischievous start - So Swara and Sanskaar have been apart for like five hours (they had a midnight romp, okay sort of, and she wakes up early) and they are missing each other. Sanskaar is actually dreaming about her and she appears; and what a punishment Sanskaar metes out to her! One that she would want for the rest of her life😊 And are almost caught by Ragini.

I think Ragini starts to suspect that there is a change in the feelings between Sanskaar and Swara- once she found out that it was Swara who had brought tea for Sanskaar - will she be a friend or turn into a foe?

Then Shekhar steps into their lives again - his story is quite shocking, he never loved Sharmistha but fathered a daughter whom he loves (thank God for small mercies). It is now clear as to how he could blame Sharmistha for Swara's accidental fall, he was just looking for an excuse to leave his wife behind. But then he never even loved any other woman so I guess he just needed someone to blame for his lost dreams.

Janaki is quite different and nice - she is right when she says that if she were is Sharmistha's places she would not forgive Shekhar. But then, I guess Shekhar has been quite a gentleman with Janaki and she has been nice to Swara who has always tried to make Shekhar see the error of his ways.

Finally, it is Swara's call which brings home the truth and Shekhar decides that he wants his family together, which is now possible as Sharmistha has forgiven him. But as Swara worries - what would happen to Sanskaar and her? Yet another hurdle for them to cross. I have a feeling the Shekhar would not be amicable to a Sanskaar Swara match😭. So please do update soon.
