You are quite right about Sanskaar's character sketch..
But Swara is not egoistic, she is a little over cautious since she has come to a new place..and she is a little over smart too😆

Friends, in this part I am writing the dialogues in Malayalam (language of Kerala) itself. The translation is in these type of { brackets }. . I am writing like this in only this part. 😛
Next part onwards I won't write like this,I promise.😊It will be in English only.
Sorry for the inconvenience, my Non- Keralite friends, forgive me this time. 😳But this is just as a treat for my Keralite readers in Swaragini forum. Please take it as fun..😃

PART 2

Sanskaar woke up early in the morning and went downstairs. He wanted to meet Sharmishta, to inform about Chinnu's arrival. He walked straight to the Sharmishta's tharavaadu. She was out in the courtyard, and was watering her plants. She saw Sanskaar and smiled.

Sha: Sanskaar..(smiles warmly)

He came near her and said. He used to address her as Amma from his childhood.

Sa: Ammak Oru santhosha vaartha kelkkano..{Amma...There is good news..}

Sha:(laughs gently) Athentha, mone.. {What is it, son..?}

Sa: (smiles) Ammede mol ille, Chinnu thirichu vannitund.. {Your daughter, Chinnu has come back.. }

Sharmishta couldn't believe her ears. She looked at Sanskaar open mouthed, unable to utter anything. Sanskaar smiled pleasantly and placed his both hands on her shoulders, looking intently into her eyes.

Sa: (raises his eyebrow) Viswasam aayille.. ? Ente koode vaa.. {You don't believe me. ? Then come with me.. }
Sanskaar put his arm around the and led her towards his tharavaadu.
Sha: (excitedly) Sanskaar.. Sathyaano nee parayane..? Ithrem varshangalk shesham.. Enikk viswasikkan pattanilla..!!{Sanskaar, are you telling the truth.. ? But, after all these years... I can't believe..!!}

They reached his home and Annapurna was in the front room when they entered. Sharmishta walked towards Annapurna and took her hand with excitement.
Sha: Annapurna..Chinnu evide..? {Annapurna..where is Chinnu..?}

An: (smiling with tears in her eyes) Nammude Chinnu ivide und.. Vaa njan kanich tharaam.. {Our Chinnu is here.. Come, I will take you to her room}

Annapurna took Sharmishta into the guest room, which was in the ground floor itself. Sharmishta was walking fast to reach her daughter. Finally they reached Swara's room and Annapurna pushed open the door soundlessly.

There on the bed lay Swara... Sharmishta just blinked uncertainly. Her daughter had grown up into a very beautiful girl. An affectionate smile appeared on her face and she walked towards her bed, eagerly.
Sharmishta studied her features carefully and tried to compare it with her face in childhood. She extended her palm and lovingly touched her forehead. Annapurna was mutely enjoying the scene with tears in her happy eyes. Sharmishta felt like she was having a day dream which was too good to be true.

But just then Sanskaar cleared his throat from outside the room and the two women turned around. Sanskaar beckoned them towards him. They walked out of the room and approached him.

Sa: (whispers to Sharmishta) Amme.. Enikk oru diwasam venam. {Amma... You just give me one day.. }

Sha: Enthina Mone.. ? {For what, son.. ?}

Sa: Athoke njan pinne parayaam. Pakshe avale njangalude veetil ee oru diwasam nilkan anuvadikkanam.{I will tell you afterwards..But please let us keep her in this house for one day.. }

Sha: (surprised) Pakshe athenthina..?Enikkethrayum vegam avale ividunn kondovanam ente veetilek.. {But why...? I want to take her to my home as soon as possible.}

Sa: (holds her hands) Enikkariyaa amme.. Pakshe, please.. Avalku oru surprise kodukkaana.. { I know Amma...But, please. I want to give her a surprise.. }

Sharmishta couldn't understand him. But since she trusted Sanskaar immensely, she nodded her head in assent.

Sha: Sheri Mone.. Pakshe ore oru diwasam. {Ok, my son..But just for one day.. }

Sa: Pakshe oru condition und.. {But there is one condition.. }

Sha: Athentha.. ? {What is that.. ?}

Sa: Njan parayunnath vare amma avalude munnilek vararuth. {You should not come in front of her unless I tell you.. }

Sha: Athentha..? {Why is it so..?} ( then looking at his face) Sheri sheri.. {Ok ok.. }

It was 9 a.m when Swara finally woke up. She opened her eyes and looked around the bedroom and remembered the past night events. Suddenly she sat up on her bed and looked at the clock.

Sw: Ente daiwame.. {Oh God..} !! Ithrem samayam aayo... ? {Its this much time already. ?}

She woke up and looked for a washroom inside the room. But she couldn't find one. She decided to go out of the room and ask Annapurna. Sanskaar was passing by her door just then. After having breakfast, he was about to go to his shop.

Sw: Excuse me..

Sanskaar turned and saw Swara who was standing at the door .

Sa: Entha.. ? (What..?)

Sw: Enikk onn fresh aavanam, brush cheyyanam... Bathroom evideya.. ?{I need to freshen up.. and also brush my teeth.. Where is the bathroom. ?}

A funny thought struck him. This was the time to start his game. He began to talk to her in a friendly manner.

Sa: (smiling) Ente peru Sanskaar... Iyalude Perentha? Nammal innale sherikum parichayapettillalo.. {My name is Sanskaar.. What is your name.. ? We didn't get time to ask our names yesterday..}

Sw: (smiles) Njan Swara. {I am Swara. } Pakshe ente amma enne Chinnu enna vilichirunne. {But my amma used to call me Chinnu. }

Sa: Sheriii... Ivide ellarum kulathil aanu kulikkaaru.. Bathroom onnum illa.. {Ok... Here, we all take our bath in a private pond.. There is no bathroom.. }

Swara blinked her eyes uncertainly, and gulped anxiously.

Sw: Aano..? Ayyo. ! {Is it.. ? Oh no.. !!}

Sa: Enthey.. ? {what happened..?}

Sw: Enikkariyillaa kulathilu kulikkan onnum.. {I don't even know how to bathe in a pond..}

Sa: Ohh..! Kulikkanengil vere vazhiyonnumillatto.. {Ohh..! There is no other way to take bath.. }

Hearing this, Swara made up her mind quickly. She raised her brows and smiled.

Sw: Ok.. One minute.

She went inside her room and took her towel and clothes to change into after bathing. Then she came back to Sanskaar.

Sw: Ok.. Enna enikk aa kulam onnu kanich tharuo.. {Ok. . Will you please show me that pond. ?}

Sanskaar nodded and asked her to follow him. They walked out of the house into the back yard and reached near the wall surrounding the private pond. He showed her door way and she looked in from there. A downward flight of stone steps led towards the pond.

Sanskaar looked at her face and he was satisfied to see her tensed expression.

Sa: Pedikkanda tto.. Aa padavil irunn kulichaal mathi.. Appo muthala onnum cheyyilla.. {Don't worry.. You sit on the steps and have your bath.. Then the crocodile won't attack you.. }

Sw: (shocked and fearful) Muthalayo... ?! {You mean, crocodile?!}

Sa: (nods)Athe..Njangal randennathine ithil valarthunnund. {Yes, we have two as pets in there. }

Swara felt like she was going to faint. She quickly backed out from there and turned to walk back inside the house. Sanskaar suppressed his laughter with very much difficuly. He chuckled and followed her into the house.

Swara collided with someone as she walked along the corridor. It was Annapurna. She hugged Annapurna tightly and placed her head on her chest with relief.

Sw: Aunty..Enikk enganelum onnu kulikkanam. Pakshe kulathilu kulikkan pediyaa.. {Aunty. I need to bathe in some way. But I am afraid to take bath in that pond}

An: Kulathil kulikkanda ennalu.. Bathroom undallo purathu... {Then you don't bathe in the pond. There is a bathroom outside}

Swara was shocked hearing this. She raised her head and looked at Annapurna openmouthed.

Sw: What. ?!!

And then she turned to look at Sanskaar fuming with anger. Sanskaar was sniggering merrily.

Sw: Enne pattichatha lle.. ?!! {You fooled me...?!!}

Sanskaar laughed out loud and walked past her and he didn't forget to make a casual remark.

Sa: Adhikam kashtapedendi vannilla. . {Well...It was so effortless... }

Hey Nainu dear...So finally you chose the title "Love will find a way". 😊 I was hoping you might choose "Sundari Neeyum, Sundaran Njanum" 😉, but this one is so very nice, too.

I really liked the authentic kerala touch you are giving to the setting, dear. The first 2 chapters were very interesting and looking forward to see how the story
progresses.

Sanskaar, I guess, has a wrong impression that Swara would be very arrogant and superficial, perhaps he feels that she was a willing party to the father's decision to separate from Sharmishta? And maybe feels a little prejudiced against "big city" girls too, feeling they cannot adjust to the small town, simple life?

Maybe this was prompted by Swara thinking he was pulling her dupatta at the Nedumbassey airport when she arrived. (Oh, so many memories about that airport, Naina, tumne toh yaadein taaza kar di yaar!) But Swara in her place, also was probably justified, it was simple misunderstanding and not owing to any condescending attitude on her part. Guess Sanskaar will come to understand that in a short while.

I am a little wary about this trick he has decided to play on Swara. Telling that Shomi was his kochchamma and asking Shomi to meet her only after a day...hope Swara doesn't get very angry with him when the truth is revealed.

It was so uncanny, the way you were describing Sanskaar's teasing, the way he scares Swara joking that there are a couple of pet modalais 😆 😆 in their private kolam, made me think of Prithvi telling those dialogues. I do like Prithvi quite a bit, though I am more of a fan of Dulquer Salman. 😊 BTW, off topic, but don't you think Dulquer and Nithya Menen make a great pair? They were so good in Ustad Hotel and also in OK Kanmani. 😊 I want this love story for SwaSan in Kerala to be as intense and romantic as those; and I know you will make it so!!

Eagerly looking forward to chap 3!!

Dear Naina,

Sorry for the delayed UnRes -was very hectic at work yesterday😭

I read all the three parts and am quite enthralled - it actually took a little longer on account of the typical kerala settings and the language, but I did enjoy it.

So Sanskaar wants to play a couple of practical pranks on Swara - in a attempt to put her in place? Hope it does not boomerang on him.
