A week had passed...Laksh had thrown Ragini out of his house. He was happy, everything seemed going good. The Maheshwaris were happy. . Swara Sanskar got married and Ragini was not a part of their life.
Whatever Laksh did to Ragini, nobody got involved in that as Ragini herself accepted it. After the betrayal all she did was asked for forgiveness, which she was given.
Ragini started off her life as Ragini Gadodia and her family helped her. The old memories good or bad were washed away, the Gadodias and Maheshwaris started off their relationship once again flushing out the deeds of past.
So now Mr. Laksh Maheshwari was back in his life, which seemed to be all sorted.
One day while driving through the Kali Badi, he saw Ragini walking through the market. She was the old Ragini whom he had met the first time.
Laksh stopped his car. Came out.
Laksh: Raginiii...Raginiii
Ragini turned back.
Laksh: Hey Ragini...wait! How are you...Are you all right? Well you seemed to be all good. (With a smirk)
Ragini: Oh yes I am Ok! All's good.
Laksh: Yes! Whatever happens, happens for good.
Ragini: Oh yes Mr. Laksh Maheshwari, so you stopped the car, just to see if I can lead my life normally without you?
Laksh: Oh c'mon Ragini, you have paid for your deeds or should I say you are still paying (in a taunting way)
Ragini: Stop it Laksh, just because I have understood how wrong I was and that I accepted your betrayal as my punishment doesn't mean that what you did was right...Did you get that!
Laksh (taken aback): O..O..O! I don't care...you can say whatever you want to.
Ragini: GOODBYE!
As Ragini was walking through the road...some guys started teasing and passing comments.
They started blocking her way. Laksh who was witnessing it, thought to himself.."Now she'll need my help".
Ragini who was already fuming because of her conversation with Laksh, slapped one of them.
The guy...shocked looked at Ragini with anger and took his gang of boys with him.
Ragini was having a walk in the market, she was selecting decorative materials for her house...Laksh who was shocked by the slapping incident stood there.
There was something which wasn't allowing him to leave the very sight.
Then there came a van and before anybody could react, they pulled Ragini. Laksh all shocked couldn't realise anything and started running behind the car...and accidently bumped into a white cab.
"Hey are you all right?" The man sitting at the back seat of the cab asked Laksh out of concern.
Laksh: I am fine...I need help.. Please can you give me lift...just follow that red van...please
The man opened the door, Laksh sat in and they followed the van. The van took a turn and they missed it.
Laksh: There is no other way here...
Laksh asked the driver to take a right and they witnessed the van standing there. Laksh asked the driver to stop.
He hurried out of the car and started shouting Raginiii
Raginiii...the man listening to this name came out of the car and asked Laksh to just get inside the place...(the place looked like an old store house which was half burned.
Inside the storehouse...the men hand cuffed Ragini...one of them approaching to Ragini said "You slapped my younger brother...how dare you? Now I'll tell you what a slap means"
Ragini was helpless...her hands and legs tied up and mouth covered. The man took out a knife and was about to stab Ragini...
BANG!
The main door broke and two men entered with aggression...started beating up the men...they were Laksh and the man who offered him help.
Laksh (while beating the gundas): How dare you touch her? I am going to kill you all.
Ragini who wasn't conscious enough could only witness two men fighting the gundas.
One of the gunda gang man was about to hurt Laksh but the man who came with Laksh saved him.
After half an hour of the fighting drama...when all the gundas were half dead...Ragini had regained consciousness...Laksh was seeing Ragini...this was the first time he felt insecure...'if something would've happened to Ragini ,then what' Laksh thought to himself.
There was a feeling in Laksh's heart that Ragini belong to him and him only.
He never loved Ragini but always thought that he has right over her...only because of her selfless love for him...he knew that whatever might Ragini will always love him...
As Ragini stood up in her half-conscious state, he was sure that she'll come running towards him.
He was right, Ragini stood up she was happy to see 'him'...'his' presence made her feel secure..after all he' saved her.
Ragini with tears in her eyes ran and hugged 'him'. Laksh was standing there, he witnessed something which was unexpected. Ragini hugged 'her man' who was not Laksh. Laksh turned around only to see Ragini hugging a man, the man who had helped him. There was a feeling of being in the right arms on Ragini's face.
That very moment made Laksh realise the meaning of love and the feeling of betrayal. Laksh could not accept the fact that inspite of his presence there Ragini hugged someone else.
That man hugged Ragini assuring her that everything was fine.
Ragini (while crying): Samar..Samar... I was scared...
The man's name was Samar, he was Ragini's childhood friend who had arrived Kolkata after 5 years.
Samar: Ragini no need to get scared... now I have come everything will be fine.
Samar took Ragini with him...Laksh was standing behind, his eyes wet.
Laksh (whispering and whipping his tears with an expression of losing something precious): Sab mila dilnasheen, ek tu hi nahi!
Samar turned aback and offered Laksh lift to his house, to which Laksh replied "NO, I'll manage".
Samar took Ragini with him...and Laksh sat down wondering how he took Ragini for granted!
Laksh: Ragini is gone...gone forever!
