needless to say this is my very first post on this forum...to be very honest tejaswi hooked me this show...hers was the first glimpse i had seen in that episode when she frames sanskar in the false molestation charge...helly and then swara were so dynamic that i watched the entire episode...then i came across sanskar..in my opinion the most sensible , grounded , rooted guy in all of tv land i guess...varun's flawless and impeccable skills were obvious pulls...however , in all honesty it was truly sanskar who made me stay..i know RS and her shows...i would have never gotten into swaragini had it not been for sanskar...now coming to why i decided to bore you Cogito ( sorry i dont know your name 😲 ) was because this twist is mind boggling...i knew the cvs would have brought kavita sometime in the future...but this shouldnt have been the time...swasan are not strong enough right now...i always wanted the cvs to play around sanskar's guilt regarding moving on with swara and how he perhaps felt he was being unfair to both kavita by moving on and to swara by holding on to kavita...but the cvs brushed this aspect under the carpet...not that i ever hoped they could do justice to such subtle complexities of human nature...but up until now they have never disappointed me when it came to sanskar...they have handled him well...but this twist its mind boggling and so very unnecessary...also what i am really scared of is that they will show kavita , most probably , in a negative capacity...somehow that irritates me...kavita is important because she in a way defines sanskar...her death changed his life...his persona , his over all being transformed because of that one incident...now if they show her as a vamp it will take away from his journey...his pain...it would cheapen the manic devotion he had for her...the kind which made him seek revenge against his own blood...some things are sacred...kavita-sanskar were sacred...the cvs should have left them alone....i dont know why i feel this but i really cant help shaking the thought away that this plot is going to butcher sanskar in a much worse way than his momentary doubts on swara...lets see what happens...have a nice day...😊😊

I was saying a similar thing in one of the threads yesterday : that part of the appeal, part of the sheer magic of the SwaSan bond, was the "dard ka rishta" angle. Two soulmates brought together by fate in their darkest hour, recovering from a soul searing loss. Learning to let go, learning to find happiness again, learning to love again.
Their love was special because it was forged in that fire of pain and loss, and how they healed each other.
Like you, I do feel that they should just have left the Sanskaar---Kavita relationship as a fond, sacred memory of his past. I do agree with you completely, that by showing her (potentially) as a negative character, or one who is manipulated by Ragini, it does, in a sense cheapen Sanskaar's first love.
I think this is partly due to an obsession on the part of the cv's to cater to melodrama, as well as to show Sanskaar as choosing Swara over Kavita. They can't really understand the fundamental concept of moving on, finding peace and joy after a heartrending loss.
Sigh...such potential they had with this magical pair...and they are using the same trite, cliched plotlines.
