Swathi, this was so well written. I liked the way you've set this in a different universe from the show, in the world of dance, where both Swara & Sanskaar are excellent performers in this enthralling art form. The way you've described Swara wanting her husband to monitor her performance; the way she got so immersed in the music and the dance, losing herself, her doubts and fears completely in the process; the way Sanskaar was admiring her deeply, even as he watched every step of hers, was astounding.

For me, the dialogue where she asks him if he liked it, or he loved it (as regards her dance), and he says, He lived it, was so amazingly profound.

A very wonderfully written OS. Is this your first? Or first only on Swaragini forum?

My suggestion, for what its worth, for the title: "The Dance of Love". 😊

Really nice to read a totally different concept from what we see on the show. As dance is my passion I enjoyed reading about SwaSan in this setting. Also fitting given the upcoming BM sequence. I especially liked some of the conversational aspects, the repartee between SwaSan was challenging but sweet at the same time. Sanskaar's reaction in saying he lived the performance was a case in point. And I smiled to read the intro and role of Varun Kapoor:). Nicely done especially for a first story! Thank you for sharing!

PS: title wise, hmmm a simple Deewani Mastani could work or if too obvious, A Perfect Dance comes to mind!

Everything was so gracefully described, it felt like I was reading a fairly tale.

She looked no less than an angel in her simple yet elegant Anarkali which just let itself to the lady possessing it, to have it her way with each inch of her skin in contact with it, engrossing in the magical sight she was portraying for her husband.

I don't know why but I particularly loved this sentence. The way you personified that piece of clothing just spokes volumes of her beauty & elegance.
