Great chapter, Saku. You have etched the characters so well, and blended the sheer pain Swara felt at the abandonment by her father, with the very sharp, ironic humor displayed in the verbal barbs between Sanskaar and Swara. 😊 SK certainly does care for her far more than an average defense lawyer does, or indeed should, care for his client. Wonder what would happen at that tricky point when he realizes he loves her, or she loves him?

Shekar is as in the serial--a spineless, brainless, waste of space. And a pompous ass to boot. Shomi at least tried to defend her daughter, but Swara here, as in the serial, is more bothered about everyone else's security and relationships, rather than her own. I loved the way Sanskaar got her up from the defeated, grief stricken mood, he didn't give her an ounce of pity, he just humorously and matter of factly offered her space in his home to stay in, bu virtue of her appointment as his maid!! 😆 At least secretary or assistant bana deta!

And Casper--My God, no words for the brilliance of this nick name. Too Good. 😆

The end showed both Lakshya and Durga Prasad behaving in a most reptilian manner. I'm a little confused about their motive though. Lakshya seems to still firmly believe Swara committed the crime. Durga Prasad says so too, but I have my doubts if he knows very well who the real culprit is, and is merely scapegoating Swara?

Nice tie in at the end, with the line on the wings melting, BTW, There's the tie in with Icarus I was waiting for!

Waiting for the next one, Saku dear! And I was broken hearted, BTW, when I saw your reply to Medhu's comment. You are not going to be active after January, is it? Is this your last SS on the forum? Yaar, say that isn't so, I am going to miss you like crazy!

I didn't want this one to be to bitter, hence I blended the pain and humor, glad you like the touch there. And yes, SK cares too much...there's a reason, which I will tell you in the coming updates.

My opinion about Shekar is still rather blemished, I have to confess he hasn't given me any reason as for yet to think of him as a loving father. I wanted Swara slightly disconnected from the case that's why I didn't make her the PA...they would have a lot of time together without Swara involving in to SK's breakthrough-s that way.

Icarus touch would be revealed in the coming updates too...

Aww...don't be broken hearted darling, I wouldn't completely disappear, too addicted to IF to do that😆 But I won't have much time to do any writing after Jan. I would try for occasional one shots and TSs, but can't promise another SS...I have an incomplete one, which you know about...I might post it next though. It really made me cry to think you'd miss me so much... 🤗this is for that!

Hmm yes, SK can read her well. Shomi would some day fight for her daughter although not right now. True...Lakshya should have backed off when he knew it was SK against him, but then again he is Lakshya after all.

Hahahaha, it indeed was Jung that gave me the first vibe of Icarus, I watched it at my sister's recently. your foresight is amazing indeed!

I would write, but very very occasionally. I am addicted to writing as well, so can't give up the entire process...😊but I won't have time for many writings...😭

Read all 5 parts in 1 go, Sakura..and you've made me cry, smile, feel the nadir of hopelessness and the high of triumph - all at the same time and in a space of 20 mins...😃⭐️

Loved the story so far ! It is beautifully written, superbly dialogued and keeps one hooked in, right through!😛

As ever, your story, stands tall for its superb emotional interplay between enigmatic Sanskaar and Swara😳 and the cacaphony of characters around them. Lakshya..as ever, reptilian🤢 and slimy. Raagini, her innocence steeped in evil intent😕...and a Shekhar who is malevolently incomprehensibly blind. 😡 DP as powerful and sure of his own power, as ever.

Shomi disappointed me, big time, frankly. She will abandon her daughter, out on bail, with no one and no where to go to, on a feeble assurance of "some friend's place"? And however much she give venomous looks, she agrees to leave Swara to go with him? Which mother would? 😡

To our lovely couple...you've picked up Swara's character so well..its etched out beautifully. Altruism, selflessness, and the inability to love her own self...isnt this what she displays time and again, even in our serial? Trust Sanskaar to read her so well...and in reading her, he has let himself identify with her pain and her hopelessness and having done so, cannot bear to see her alone in that misery.😳 He has a parallel reason for his supporting her, but thats probably already second fiddle to his larger need to be there for her. Something that he probably doesnt even realize himself.

Superb portrayal of this enchanting duo, Saku!👏

Now that I have read them all, I cant wait to read the entire story, at once ! 😃No clue how long this would run, and I know I have to hold my patience, but as always, it will be a delight for as long as it goes..⭐️

Thanks a bunch for writing such intriguing and engaging stories and keeping Swasan ❤️ going so brilliantly from 1 story on to another..🤗
