Oh my God and just HOW did I miss this one??? You've actually reached 40 pages ?? Wow viji...your fans are increasing day by day πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†
This one is soo beautiful. You know the best part about this one is ragini's redemption. I loved the way you portrayed her character in this TS particularly. πŸ‘
Sanskaar - ragini conversations are always very interesting.
Now...coming to my favorites portions. ...We'll yes obviously the swasan parts. I loved them really 😳. I particularly loved the way swara described sanskaar's eyes. He indeed has very attractive eyes...and then that kiss..!! Man...now that was hot !☺️☺️
I loved how you associated the theme with the ragas. Lovely πŸ‘
Honestly viji...i love anything and everything that you write. Please keep writing. I always look forward to reading your brilliant works.πŸ˜³πŸ€—

First off, I am so sorry for the very late review. I was busy im real life and didn't have the time. Even now, I have a presentation tomorrow but I couldn't wait any longer!
Second: Thank you so much for the dedication.
Now onto the review, I love love loved the chapter! That description of Raag Todi is so apt for Ragini. That feeling of unrequited love, emancipation and peace decribes the Ragini of this TS to a T! The bonding between the sisters was great and threw me back to the old days where there was an actual sisterly relationship between the two.
Lakshya is so immature! When I read his thoughts and whenever I think about him, I remember Dumbledore and what he told the Dursleys in the 6th book. He told them that they are damaging their own son more than Harry with the way they spoil him and Lakshya's parents have done the exact same thing! It irks me that he doesn't stand up and accept the punishment for the wrongs he did and how he always tries to find an excuse or pushes the blame on someone else!
Annapurna is so... She is the main reason that her younger son has turned out this way! Whenever I manage to catch the show these days, I am always torn between sympathy and satisfaction looking at her!
And I saved the best for the last! SwaSan are as great as they always are! Loved the part at the beginning and loved how happy they are with each other at the end! Ram Prasad and Durga Prasad ship them just like we do!
Looking forward to your next fic!

Firstly apologies for commenting so late...I've been thinking to make a comment for quite some time but could not do it πŸ˜›...actually was not in the right frame of mind to do it as this blasted show has taken its toll on me 🀒...to say the least I was bl***y furious with Swara during that kidnapping drama...and I believe I've mentioned the reasons earlier in one of your posts...but now my anger for her is slowly dissipating as the upcoming spoilers are positive and of course in the serial swara is pining and sanskaar is throwing mega attitude ...gosh me too happy though a tad bit sad for swara...but as you know "still waters run deep"...that's the case with sanskaar and he's so damn hurt with her behaviour that his defense mechanism is on high alert and he's giving it back without hearing her part of the story...to give swara her due I would say that during the time she was mad at sanskaar for allegedly falling in love with her, she was not as rude as he is now...so I am beginning to feel bad for her...but me sure our girl will fight and reclaim her love...now me positively rooting for her and therefore now in the right frame of mind to write a comment...πŸ€ͺ
your story is really very beautiful...and its based on music for which I have no idea though I know raag yaman and have heard my mum singing ...she's a trained classical singer...she tried making me also learn singing but alas not all have the voice of nightingale...πŸ˜†
I do agree with you that redemption cannot be sudden and the way you went about redeeming Ragini is marvellous...i'll be honest that my fav parts were 1 & 3...I just love the 2 frenemies...the way sanskaar gave Ragini a way out and in his earnestness told her to quit the path of lies and deceit was outstanding...he genuinely cared about Ragini and somehow holds himself responsible for the kind of monster she has become...but then his protective instincts for swara is always on and to safeguard her he has to checkmate Ragini...I simply loved their conversation...I just wish in the serial also why can't they show a cerebral sanskaar checkmating Ragini...
the second part was so beautifully written...sanskaar's pain at being distrusted came through so beautifully...and Ragini, the ever perceptive one, realised the predicament of swara and advised her in an oblique way...I loved that...I just wish these two make up...and for that Ragini needs to let go of her obsession and paranoia...and above all the way swara lets out all her emotions with her singing and sanskaar getting the message was so heart warming...its rightly said music has its own language and ways to get to people...mega happy that swara and sanskaar made up...πŸ˜ƒ...sanskaar and swasan is the reason for me to watch the show and also Ragini's shenanigans though the latest stunt is too yucky for me...Ragini heaping loads of insults is so cringe worthy...I've become so disheartened that I skipped yesterday's episode...and I have decided that i'l, watch only the repeat telecast after going through the WU of the epi...😑
and the last chapter best part was the resounding slap lakshya got from RP πŸ‘...man he deserved that and who better than enraged father to dish that out ...chalo RP got to do something worthwhile πŸ˜ƒ ...am glad that you did not make swara slap him...though he deserves a tight slap from swara but I certainly feel that this was not the right time and place...just my views...
Ragini singing the raag todi and swara standing and listening was so wonderful ...and their banter regarding jugalbandi and Ragu tesing swara was so awwiee...I really miss this kind of light banter between the sisters in the show...
am just totally out my wits to see what they have made Ragini in the show...and the musical background of the show is lost somewhere in the makers quest of trp's and their unending, unrealistic and over the top drama...I just wish they give me back my intelligent, spunky and smart Swara and a beautiful, caring, nurturer and strong Ragini...alas if only wishes were horses...this show is about swaragini and their journey, but why do they have to show a stupid clash between them everytime...🀒
anyways I don't know what I have written...hopefully I made sense...πŸ˜›
cheers

Kaku my dear pal...πŸ€— πŸ€—

As I said yesterday, its always a privilege and pleasure for me to get your feedback, your comments are always so analytical and detailed.

I've also been quite happy with Swara pining for Sanskaar, and going out of her way to literally woo him back. πŸ˜‰ After all, the poor guy was wearing his heart on his sleeve for so long, now its time she also did some chasing. But like you, I'm also feeling sorry for her, since Sanskaar is giving her a royal cold shouldering! I'm just looking forward to some passionately intense scenes between them, an angry and insecure Sansku being wooed and convinced by a determined and deewani in love Swara! 😳 ☺️

Thanks for saying you liked the music interwoven into this 3S. That was such an important aspect of the serial when it started na, the way music played a key role in the lives of both Swara and Ragini. But we hardly get to see that anymore now.

I really feel that Ragini is a very interesting character, with a lot of nuances and layers to her nature. She does have the potential to rediscover the goodness within herself, redeem herself for all the wrongs she has committed. And I do feel that Sanskaar, as a friend, would help her in this process. He does feel guilt, I am sure, for his initial push in making her take this wrong path, though he did try his very best to turn her back from the brink, once he himself realized the huge error of his ways. Who better than Sanskaar, after all, to know the value of a second chance to redeem oneself, to rediscover one's true nature? But he will definitely opposed Ragini tooth and nail, if she endangers or attempts to insult Swara. Whatever the differences between Swara and himself, he loves her unconditionally & selflessly, with a potent, deep adoration. He would never tolerate anyone maligning her.

I too would love to see a cerebral Sanskaar intelligently countering a cunning, plotting Ragini, on the serial. πŸ˜ƒ

As for the second chapter, I wanted to show Sanskaar's deep hurt at being mistrusted by the person he loves and trusts more than anyone else. I think what he felt most hurt about, was that Swara could have easily asked him about her doubts regarding the blanket straight out. He would not have minded that. But her roundabout way of questioning, and also her rooting around in his wallet behind his back, made it seem as if she had already made up her mind about his guilt, which hurt him badly.

I also wanted to show Swara's reason for having that momentary doubt about his involvement in the kidnapping. Basically, Swara knows how much Sanskaar loves her, how protective he is about her. When Ragini had insulted her in the baadi, Sanskaar had got so furious, he actually clutched Ragini's throat! So Swara might have felt, that after Ragini tried to ruin her image before Annapurna & Sujata, Sanskaar could have felt angry enough to teach her a lesson, by keeping Ragini confined for a day or so.

But she should have realized, that Sanskaar would never have let blame fall on Swara, nor would he have let Swara feel so desperately worried. He would rather have told the truth, if he was involved. So this is where she went wrong, and she makes a heartfelt apology to him for that. I also wanted to show her expressing her love, her trust, her intense faith and devotion to him, through her music. Am very happy that you liked that, as well as the SwaSan reconciliation and romance which happens to conclude chapter 2.

As for chapter 3, I really wanted to make Ram stand up for his son effectively. That slap to Lakshya was long overdue! πŸ˜† We get to see Ram doing practically nothing on the show; but he can't be so spineless and useless na---after all, he sired Sanskaar!! 😊

And I do feel that once Ragini rediscovers her innate goodness, with Swara and Sanskaar's support, the sibling bond between her and Swara would be restored. I can see this happening in the future, Ragini and Swara running their music school together, having some friendly competition and banter about who could win a jugalbandi. And of course, Ragini would pull Swara's leg, that Sanskaar is so absolutely, completely wrapped up in her. πŸ˜‰

BTW I completely agree with you on Ragini's current portrayal. The CVs have lost a golden opportunity to start a genuine, meaningful redemption track for her, after the kidnapping was solved. They could have shown Ragini's realization starting from that point, but they have turned her into an avaricious, sadistic makaan malkin!! 🀒

Thanks again for your lovely comment, Kaku! πŸ€—
