Really really wonderful OS dear..👏
Sujata is so unlike her Jiji..But she is a fighter indeed.
I loved the way you described Sanskaar's love for Annapurna and the way Sujata looks at it.
Loved the end statement regarding Swara..😊

Hi Medha,

This is absolutely powerful.

Sujata has been a very strong character right next to Durgaprasad. She knows all and she can tell everyone off. It's another matter that they tend to shut her up immediately without giving much thought to her words.

The back story that is so fictionally created sits with her personality in the present. Sanskaar means everything to her and for Sanskaar, she does mean something. (On a side track, I am just wondering if Sanskaar is asked to choose between his Ma and Mom, who would he choose?)

The fact that Ramprasad is portrayed as a reckless youth invites my laughter. If this was the true story, then isn't Laksh so much similar! LOL!! Sorry again got side-tracked.

The reason that she gives (or rather you give) for her dislike towards Swara sounds like a typical protective mother who doesn't want her son to get hurt or relive the misery of those painful 5 years of the past.

So sorry for reading this this late. Thanks to your message that I can track it back.

Happy New Year! Wish you come up with more interesting stories.

Cheers
Sharon

The last few line you wrote really had me think from Sujathas side how she may be looking at Sanskars love for Swara and why she may not be liking her

Great OS - it is a pleasure to read character analysis of the people the show usually relegates to the background or a single dimension.
As you said - everyone would have a reason to act the way they do. Which reminds me of a quote:

"There is no absolute hate or evil. On the contrary hate or evil are always intimately blended with love and goodness. What causes more hate and evil is paradoxically what tends to be done in the name of love and goodness. Hence, in order to reduce hate and evil we need to be aware of love and goodness, rather than hate and evil." Franco Santoro

Your OS really brings this out - it is tragedy that most Indian shows however, tend to make the characters single dimensional - either good or evil - neither can exist in isolation - hence appears unreal and unbelievable. So we have all sacrificing goodness personified on one side with totally illogical 'evil' on the other hand, with silent caricatures to fill the screen space.😭

nyna😃---

Its a rather old OS written while I still felt some pity for sujju. After this I totally took offence at her bangali hatred, being one myself😆. Made that back story up tro give her character some background to react the way she does.

A person cannot really be evil just for the sake of it. There has to be some reason some concrete cause to that effect.😳 as u said.

thank you.

Loved it!!
It shows why Sujata behaves like this ..
We know that she loves Sanskaar a lot and she will always stand by him no matter if everyone else is against her..
She always felt inloved, and the second option in everyone's life, she felt neglected by her parents...
Really liked the last lines in which you talk about the real reason behind her behavior towards Swara..and it feels right too, she feels that his son deserves more than what he is getting...
Very well written..
