PART 3

Next day morning, before going to office, Sanskaar reached Swara's villa. The kids were still asleep. He didn't see Swara anywhere around and so he decided to check inside the kitchen. There she was, busy preparing breakfast.
Sa: Swara..
Swara turned around and saw him..She smiled at him..
Sw: Hello Sanskaar..Good morning..
Sa:(smiling slightly) Good morning Swara..I have come to tell you that I will not be coming for two days.. An emergency has come at another one office, which is a little bit away from the city. I will be returning late at night, and I will have to leave early morning too..So I am staying at my villa itself for next two days..Let the kids stay here with you. I will come back here on Wednesday evening.
Sw: (kindly)It's ok Sanskaar, I will tell them when they wake up..That their Papa will be working away from here for two days..
Sa: (smiles) I am really sorry for my rude behavior for the past two days. Please forgive me..
Sw: (smiles) it's alright Sanskaar, I can understand..Don't say sorry..
Sa: (smiles) Ok..Bye..
Sw: (smiles)Bye..

In those two days, Sanskaar would make a call to Swara's mobile every day to talk with the kids. He would talk with Swara too, but for one or two minutes. His relationship with Swara gradually changed into a friendlier one. It was true that they were talking about the kids, but they felt an unknown connection with each other.
Wednesday arrived and Sanskaar returned to Swara's home in the evening by 6.30 pm. The kids ran up to him and welcomed him fondly. They had missed their Papa terribly. He picked them both in his arms and kissed their cheeks. Then he looked at Swara who was smiling at him warmly. He didn't know why, but he felt a tug in his heart seeing her. He smiled back affectionately.
Sw: I will prepare some tea for you..
Sa: Ok Swara..
Swara walked back into the kitchen and wondered why she was feeling so happy after seeing him again. She dismissed such thoughts and busily prepared some tea for him. She went into the drawing room and handed him the cup of tea. His hands accidentally brushed her fingers and she felt something in her heart. She sat down opposite to him. The kids were playing some games at a short distance from them.
Sw: Sanskaar..I guess these past two days had been hectic for you..
Sa: Well..Yes Swara..Now I am a bit relaxed..(sighs)
Sw: Hmm...(smiles)
Sanskaar loved her smile very much. It was innocent and cheerful. He wondered why he hadn't noticed it before. He had highly misunderstood her when they met for the first time. Then he thought "Well..the circumstances were like that.."
Sw: Sanskaar..What are you thinking about..?
Sa:(comes out of his thoughts) Err..Nothing Swara..
Sanskaar sipped his tea and a few minutes passed without anymore conversation. He placed the empty cup on the teapoy and got up..
Sa: The tea was too good Swara..Thank you..(smiles)
Sw: (smiles) Thank you Sanskaar...
Sa: I would like to take a bath..
Sw: I will show you the guest room, Sanskaar..
Sanskaar followed Swara as she climbed up the staircase. She led him to the bedroom adjacent to the bedroom used by her and the kids. She handed him a towel and showed him the bathroom. Swara left the room and Sanskaar remembered the day when they had made the "deal" in the very same bedroom. He smiled at the thought and entered the washroom.

After having dinner, they were all watching T.V. Sanskaar's mobile rang and he saw that it was his Maa..
Sa: Hello Maa..
An: Did you reach there, Sanskaar..Are you with the kids now..?
Annapurna had called up earlier when Sanskaar was working out of the city. She was missing her grand children and she wanted to talk with them. Sanskaar told her everything about the happenings and that they were with Swara now. Annapurna was really surprised by the turn of events and she felt really anxious about their safety. Sanskaar assured her that the kids are really safer with Swara, more than they were with him. He had told her that he will be with the kids only after two days. That is why she was calling tonight..
Sa: Yes Maa..I am with them..
An: (excitedly) Is it, Sanskaar..?I want to talk with them..
Sa : Sure Maa..One second..
He handed the phone to his kids and they began to talk with Annapurna..After talking for some time, Ayaan gave the phone to Swara..
Sw: Why beta..?
Ay: Daadimaa wants to talk to you..
Swara got up and moved away from the kids so that they wouldn't overhear..
Sw: Hello..
An: Swara beta..I am Sanskaar's Maa..Are the kids troubling you..? I am really sorry beta..Actually I shouldn't have let them go with Sanskaar on his business trip..
Sw: No Aunty..They are wonderful kids..I just love them..Don't worry at all..
An: Ok beta..Bye..Take care, Swara..
Sw: Ok..Bye aunty..
Sanskaar watched her from distance, as she was talking to his Maa. Swara disconnected the call and came towards him. She returned his mobile and sat down on the couch at a certain distance from him.
The TV remote was with Ayaan and he was changing the channels. Just then he put on a channel, in which a reality (dancing competition) show for married couples was airing. It was the kids' favourite show and Navya and Ayaan were watching it with interest. A contestant couple had just begun dancing on the song "Inn lamhon ke daaman mein", (from Jodha Akbar movie) very romantically. The starting music was going on..
Na: Wow..they are dancing beautifully na, Ayaan..
Ay: Yes, Navya..I guess our Papa and Mumma can also dance like that..Isn't it Papa..?
He looked at Sanskaar expectantly. Sanskaar and Swara were deeply surprised and flabbergasted at his query.
Na: Wow..Mumma Papa..Please dance..For us to watch..
Swara apprehensively looked at Sanskaar and he looked back at her with a baffled expression.
Sw: (turns to the kids)No Navya..We can't..
But the kids wouldn't take their "No" as an answer. Ayaan got up and pulled Swara's hands while Navya went and began to pull Sanskaar's hands, to raise them from the couch.
Ay: Come on Mumma Papa..You have got to do this for us..
Na: Finally we got our Mumma back..And we want to celebrate your union..Just one dance..
Sanskaar looked at Swara with a shrug and Swara gazed at him with an embarassed expression.
Sa: Swara..I think we can dance, once..(raising his eyebrows expectantly)
Sw:(shrugs) Ok then..
Sanskaar held Swara's hand and Swara felt her heart skip a beat. Both of them walked to the centre space and the kids watched them with excited faces.
Inn lamho ke daaman mein, pakija se riste hain..
Sanskaar placed his left hand on her waist really gently and Swara looked into his eyes with a smile. Sanskaar's heart did a somersault as he looked into her beautiful eyes.
Koyi kalma mohabbat ka dohrate farishtein hain..
They began to sway gently to the music and the kids were watching them intently.
Khaamosh si hai jamin, hairan sa phalak hain..
Sanskaar raised her hand in a soft move and twilrled her round many times, in a graceful manner.
Ek noor hi noor sa abb aasmaan talak hain..
Swara laughed merrily in excitement and her laugh felt like the tinkling of wind chimes to Sanskaars ears. The kids too laughed happily and Sanskaar also smiled widely.
Nagme hi nagme hai jaagati soti fijao mein..
Husn hai sari adao mein, ishq hai jaise hawao mein..
Sanskaar and Swara began to enjoy their dance immensely.
Kaisa yeh ishq hai, kaisa yeh khwab hai...
Sanskaar held her waist with both hands and he bent forward, bending her body downwards and they made a lower semi circle move in a clock wise direction.
Kaise jasbat ka umda sailaab hai..
Again he bent forward, bending her body downwards and they made a lower semi circle move this time in an anti-clock wise direction.
Din badale raate badali, bate badali..
Then they came back to their straight pose and Sanskaar held her hand again and made her move farther outwards from him and then tugged at her hand signalling to move inwards.
Jine ke andaaz hi badale hain..
Swara came towards him twirling her body inwards through the length of their clasped hands.
Inn lamho ke daaman mein, pakija se riste hain..
Swara and Sanskaar felt a strange energy coursing through their bodies and they were highly exhilarated. When Swara's body came near Sanskaar after she twirled inwards, Sanskaar hands caught hold of her slender waist with a much stronger hold. Gone were the gentle caresses, and Sanskaar was holding with Swara in a much possesive grip.
Koyi kalma mohabbat ka dohrate farishtein hain..
Their waists and torsos were touching each other and their faces were only inches apart.
Samay ne yeh kya kiya, badal di hai kaaya..
Their eyes bore into each other with intense power and they were panting hard.
Tumhe maine pa liya, mujhe tumne paaya..
Sanskaar's hands left her waist and caught hold of her both hands clasping their fingers tightly.
Mile dekho aise hai hum, ke do sur ho jaise madhdham...
Swara's cheeks reddened and she looked into his eyes with a multitude of emotions.
Koyi saadhana koyi kam kisi raag mein..
Sanskaar raised her hands to his shoulders and put them around his neck gently.

Ke prem aag mein, jalte dono hi the
Tan bhi hai mann bhi, mann bhi hai tan bhi ...

Their eyes locked with pure magical enchantment.
Hmmm hmmm hmmm...
Wordless messages were being conveyed through their eyes.
Mere khwaabo ke iss gulistaan mein, tumse hi tum bahaar chhayi hain..
Sanskaar's hands slowly slipped around her waist and his gaze slowly went towards her parted lips and then to her longing eyes.
Phulo mein rang mere the lekin, iname khusbu tumhi se aaye hain..
The song in the programme stopped at this juncture and the kids clapped their hands in enthusiasm. The enchantment broke, causing Sanskaar and Swara to break off from their intimate position. They looked away from each other and looked at the kids instead.
But upon seeing the joy of the kids they felt really happy and so they smiled at them.
Ayaan and Navya ran towards Sanskaar and Swara and hugged around their legs
Sanskaar gazed at Swara through the corner of his eyes and thought "Why did I lose control like that..What is happening to me.." Then he again looked at his kids.
With an awkward blush and looking down at the floor, Swara thought, "What was I thinking, while dancing with him..I was so attracted to him" . Swara bit her lips and blinked her eyes uncertainly.
Swara knew that it was time for Sanskaar to return to his villa for the night. So she decided to make the kids asleep.
Sw: Come on Ayaan, Navya..Time to sleep..
Sanskaar got the clue and he nodded at her mouthing a silent "Good night". Swara nodded at him and managed a slight smile.
He watched her lead the kids upstairs to her bedroom and then he left Swara's villa with a more than happy smile playing on his lips.

Swara was lying on her bed, with an already asleep Ayaan and Navya lying on her either side.
She thought, "I must not be attracted to Sanskaar like this.. He is a married man..I had only agreed to his 'Deal' because I wanted to reunite him with his wife and I must never forget that. "
That night, after reaching his villa, Sanskaar couldn't sleep at all. Lying on his bed, his thoughts drifted towards Swara and the way she took care of his kids. She was a caring woman and she was attractive too. His heartbeats raced when he thought about the strong attraction he felt for her while dancing.
But then he thought, "No No..I can't think about Swara like this..She has agreed for this 'parenting drama' only for a duration of two weeks. Its all part of our 'Deal'..I have to keep my feelings in check"
