Doubt regarding Kanyadana in hindu rituals

Hi all ..I have a doubt regarding Kanyadana in hindu rituals.
This rituals will be done by girls father or any uncle relation, because in the onlocation video i saw DP and AP are doing the rituals.

i dont know much abt marriage stuff
im happy DP did it instead of that good for nothing shekar who dont have any right to call swara as his daughter
agar shekar kanyadan karta swasan life wouldnt been gud
DP atleast is gud from heart and loves swara acha huva he did her khanyadan
