Yeah. I saw it today too, and noticed the similarity (pretty lame movie by the way)
And i think the Priyamani movie you mentioned is charulatha.

OMG! So many malayalees in the forum!??[/QUOTE haha so seems the case. Priyamani movie was a dubbed movie. Original was Telugu version if I am not mistaken. The other two stories also follow the same storyline, but in all the sisters are twins, making it easier for the one to impersonate the other.

saundarya who was opposite amitabh bacchan in suryavansham was d lead actress & hero was of no use in d film his role ia cameo role in film. sorry i dont remember d name.

In between swaragini concept can be found in many number of serials . Either as between sistes friends or cousins . Remember chand chupa badal maim in star ... I think the name of serial is correct .
